Describe the relationship between the sign of the derivative and the behavior of the function. Calculate limits, derivatives, and integrals of simple functions, with no technology. Use a graphing calculator to solve mathematics problems. Identify the relationship between limits, derivatives, and integrals. Identify the relationship between Calculus 1 and physics – position, velocity, and acceleration. Assessment Attendance – attendance will be taken every day. Missing more than 5 class days may result in the decrease of your final grade by one-third letter grade. No late assignments will be accepted without an Excused Absence. The university policy on attendance, including the list of excused absences and how to Secure an Excused Absence, can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog. These midterm exams will be given during class. You will have the entire class time to work on the exam.

Final Exam – Monday, May 2, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM – The final exam will be comprehensive.

Grading Policy: Below is a list of assignments and their weight towards your final grade. The final numerical grade and corresponding letter grade is also given.
