Course Objective

Cantonese is mainly an oral language and the most common dialect

spoken in Hong Kong. With four levels, our Cantonese courses are

designed to equip English speakers to use Cantonese in daily interactions

confidently.

In our beginning Cantonese course, a set of phonetic spelling of words

has been prepared for you, called ‘Romanization’ which makes the

learning process much easier than you think.

Contents: Numbers; Useful daily expressions; Greetings; Transportation; Introduction; Reading the clock; Time; Money; Classifiers; Questions.

This course is designed for advanced Cantonese learners who desire to

further develop their Cantonese ability after Level 2.

Contents:

Food ordering in the Chinese restaurant; Rent a house; Making haircut; Buying a movie ticket; Comparison; Constructions denoting ‘Time’, Use of ‘Dak’, Aspects of Result

Course Fee: HK$1,650 Sessions: 12

Commencement Date: Jul 2015 (TBC)

Level 4 is suitable for students who have completed Level 3 or who have

had a minimum of 64 hours of Cantonese study in the past. Contents: Revision on Cantonese sounds and tones; Use of measure words, nouns and adjectives; Talking on the phone; In the restaurant; Shopping; Sports and activities; Locations and places; Occupations; in the office; Seeing a doctor (Contents may be subject to change to suit students' learning progress)

Remarks: 1. Potential course participants are encouraged to enroll as soon as possible. Course with insufficient

number of participants will normally be cancelled 3 to 5 days before the course starts. A refund cheque will be prepared to participants in about 1 month’s time.

2. Refund and Transfer Policy Please choose the most appropriate course time and date. Application will be charged an administrative fee of HK$150 for each course transfer at personal request.

-Transfer or withdrawal over 14 days before course starts, there will be subject to approval. (non-refundable & no transferable) -Transfer or withdrawal within 14 days of course starts or on after course started; there will be no refund and transfer.

3. Proof of Identity of the application’s ID Card Copy has to be provided if registration is done by proxy. 4. Certificate of Completion

The Certificate of Completion will be issued to those who have an attendance of not less than 80%. A fee of HK$20 is charged for each issuance.
