Basic Visual Basic for Applications in MS Word

Step 1:

Open the Microsoft Office Word 2010. Start creating a New Document by clicking the Menu Bar: File – New.

Step 2:

Select Options from the File menu list.

Step 3 Choose Customize Ribbon from the Word Options dialog box. Tick the Developer and press OK button.

Step 4 You will notice that a Developer menu is inserted in the menu bar.

Step 5 Click the Developer menu and select the Visual Basic (Alt + F11) to open the Visual Basic Editor.

Step 6 Insert UserForm from the toolbar.

Change the Form caption with COMPUTERIZED QUIZ in the Caption of Properties palette.

Step 8 Start placing controls on the form and follow the layout design shown below with control setting and declaration.

Step 9 Add three additional forms by clicking Insert and select the UserForm.

Change again the Form caption with COMPUTERIZED QUIZ in the Caption of Properties palette. Hence, your project will contain four user forms.
