Scholarships for Distance Learning Programs: Medical & Engineering

(i) Merit Scholarships

Scholarship % Criteria

35%

Scholarship shall be given to students who have secured : 100% marks in class X Board in Maths or Science OR A1

Grade in all subjects in class X OR Topper of any CBSE Board OR State Board OR NTSE Scholar OR Olympiad Scholar

(below 100 Rank)

25%

Scholarship shall be given to students who have secured: A1 Grade in Science and Maths in Class X OR 95% and above

in Science and Maths in Class X OR 90% and above aggegate marks in Class X OR 89% and above aggregate marks in PCB

in Class XII Board OR Ex-Aakshian who has already taken our c lassroom coaching for one year course or two years course at

any centre / branch of Aakash

15%Scholarship shall be given to students who have secured : A1 Grade in Science & A2 Grade in Maths or vice versa in

class X OR 90% 94.5% marks in Science & Maths in Class X OR 85% - 88.5% marks in PCB in class XII Board

10%Scholarship shall be given to students who have secured:A2 Grade in Science & Maths in Class X OR 85-89.5% marks

in Science and Maths in Class X OR 80-84.5% marks in PCB in Class XII Board

5%Scholarship shall be given to students who have secured: A1 Grade in Science & B1 Grade in Maths or Vice-Versa in

Class X OR 80-84.5% marks in Science and Maths in Class X

(ii) Special Scholarships


5%Single Parent: Scholarship on fee will be given to those students who have lost their father and the mother of student is the

only single earning member of the family. Proper application and proof in this regard will have to be submitted by the mother.

5%Teacher's Ward: Scholarship on fee will be given to the ward of the teacher / principal of recognized school / college /

university or any reputed coaching insti tute (Attach Proof).

5% Sibling: Scholarship on fee will be given to each sibling who is taking admiss ion or is already studying in Aakash.

(iii) For Girl students in Silver Jubilee Year only

Girl Students 5% This additional Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to the girl student only.

Note :

1. If a student is eligible for scholarship in (i) as well as (ii), then these scholarships will be clubbed.

2. A student can avail any one of the scholarships from (ii) Special Scholarships.

3. 10% relaxation in marks for WB, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, UP, UT, HR, North-East District Boards s tudents for merit scholarships. However, in the

scholarship criteria where 100% marks in Sceince and / or Maths is required, no relxation of 10% in marks ofor State Board students shall beconsidered. These students needed to have 100% marks in Science and/or Maths in their respective State Board.

(i) Merit Scholarships


30%This Scholarship will be given to all those students who have secured above 95% marks in Mathematics & Science in class VII /

VIII / IX OR have secured 1st Rank at School Level in class VIII / IX.

25% This Scholarship will be given to all those students who have secured A1 Grade in both Science & Mathematics .

20%This Scholarship will be given to all those students who have secured above 90% marks in Mathematics & Science in class VII /

VIII / IX.

15%This Scholarship will be given to all those students who have secured A1 Grade in Mathematics & A2 Grade in Science or vice

versa.

10% This Scholarship will be given to all those students who have secured above 85% marks in Sc ience & Mathematics in class VII /VIII / IX OR have secured A2 Grade both in Science & Mathematics.

NOTE : 10% relaxation in marks for State Board students except CBSE / ICSE for merit scholarships.

(ii) Special Scholarships
