    COURSE DESCRIPTION

    Title of Course: Software system Lab-I Course Code: 07M11CI171L-T-P Scheme:0-0-2 Course Credit: 1

    Prerequisite:Students must have knowledge of C & C++, Basic Data Structures.

    Objective:The student will learn the advance concept of programming with the C languageand applying it to develop some mini projects related to the area of interest &relevant to floated course in M.Tech 1st year. The student will work on LANtrainer, OPNET Simulator, Oracle to implement the concept of Advancecomputer network & Advance Database Management System.

    Learning Outcomes:

    At the end of the course students should be:

    1. Efficient in C programming & concept of Data Structures2. Efficient in implementing the concept of Algorithm and able to design and

    analysis of new algorithms for new problems3. Able to design and implement of computer architecture along with analysis

    of practical aspects4. Efficient in Simulation of network concept & Implementation of advance

    Database concepts5. Develop mini projects related to course topics and area of interest

    Course Content:

    1. Implement the different operations on binary search tree & Linked List,Stack, Queue.

    2. Implementation of String operation like String length, String copy, Stringconcatenation, String comparison, String reverse.

    3. Implementation, Design & Optimization of Algorithm for given Problems.4. Getting acquainted with the microprocessor architecture using debug.5. Design & Study the performance of the Ethernet network, Token Ring by

    using OPNET simulator.6. Work on LAN Trainer to study the performance of different topology by

    applying different protocols like ALHOA,CSMA/CD,CSMA7. Development of Mini Project in Context of Advance Data Structure8. Development of Mini Project in Context of Advance Algorithm9. Development of Mini Project in Context of Advance Computer Network10.Development of Mini Project in Context of High performance Computer
