Council Highlights Council moved to apply for a line of credit at the Manning
Alberta Treasury Branch up to $2,000,000.00 to use like a float
throughout the term where taxes are being collected. The
Municipality has historically used cash in reserves to be able to
pay for expenditures throughout the me frame. This line of
credit will improve efficiency.
Council moved to have $200,000.00 moved from water
reserves into the 2014 budget for the purpose of carrying out
requested rural water system add‐ons that would encompass
new home construc on or property changes. The dollar
amount is then to be added to the budget on an annual basis
to accommodate these par cular hook‐ups.
Council moved for third and final reading to the fee schedule
of Bylaw 10‐12‐265, removing the payment for easements and
changing the payment for crop damage to $200 per acre.
Council sponsored the 1st Senior Showmanship Award for the
Three Rivers 4H Beef Club in the amount of $50.00.
Council will be a $500.00 bronze sponsor at this year’s Alberta
Airport Management Associa on seminar.
