About Cotton Couture

Cotton Couture is a private owned business that has been developed in 2018 in the city of Corsicana, Texas. The mission of the boutique is to promote the latest fashion at an affordable price. Cotton Couture is a middle to high-end retail store that will reach out to women 16 to 40 years old that have sense of the fashion industry in thCorsicana and surrounding areas. We also have an online option to people that are not near the perminant location. The purpose of Cotton Couture is to make every woman feel like they are a million bucks in the outfit of their choice.

The boutique will offer products varying from athletic wear to a night out on the town. Cotton Couture will help the city of Corsicana bring in more local revenue and will be extremely convenient to the citizens of the community in terms of finding outfits that are affordable but great quality.

Each of the fonts that we chose was very thoughtout and taken into consideration for audience, appearance and how they fit in with the theme we were trying to portray. Champagne & Limousines displays class that Cotton Couture strives to excell in. Florence presents a more feminine vibe that portrays the elegance of the boutique. Melinda is a font that I look at that draws a consumer into the boutique. Orange Blossom is a very unqiue type of font that looks very down to Earth that fits the vibe of the boutique. We hope to enthuse a feminine and soothing feeling when reading through our brand guide as well as engaging in our logo and logotypes.

MelindaThis will be the font for our logo. Cotton Couture is a boho sheik boutique that will be for ladies ages 16 to around 40 years old. The Melinda font is a beautiful calligraphy font that is realistic and modern. It also has very beautiful characters. The font reminds us of innocense and very classy. 60-70 pt font.

Champagne & LimousinesThis will be the font for our body. This is the sans serif font. We chose this font because it went along with the font for our logo. It is easy to read and we feel like it goes with the overall theme we are going for. 16 pt.

orange blossomThis is the caption text. We chose this font because it is easy to read and it is significantly different than our other two fonts. 14 pt.

Florence

This is the header font. This is a serif font.I chose this font because it is very classy and it portrays a fancy tone. I am going for with the boutique. It is also easy to read and draws attention to a young eye. 30- 35 pt.

Cotton Couture has a variety of customers. We want to make sure that everyone has a memorable experience. We’ve chosen two primary colors that will represent the company. These colors will include a very basic black and white.

The secondary colors that will portray a boho sheik appearance are the flamingo pink and fancy turquoise. The pink and the turquoise stimulate elegance and vibrancy. Only these colors should be used in our logos. The white and black were chosen as a more dominant but also classy look as well. These can be used at the accents.

Cotton Couture logos were created with simplicity as key but also keeping it elegant. We wanted to have a feminine feel to catch the eye of women who were interested in style and keep a female based audience.

The Cotton Couture black and white logo can be used for immediate advertising if the combination logo cannot be printed together. We also use this for an informal signature. We wanted a logo that can be easily identified and simple. We intended the logo to be placed on the website and our business cards.

The lateral lockup is to be used for business forms and receipts. The stacked logotype will be used on employee apparel and bags for the boutique. Both of these lockups will be used for billboards, signage, and banners.

Our logotype was designed to be as simple as possible. We used our two secondary colors to throw in a splash of character to our stem of cotton silhouette. The two colors that we used in our logotype add a sense of feminism to the logo.

The logos appeal to our target audience by conveying a tone for elegance and sim-plicity, which perfectly describes Cotton Couture’s goal of making our customers happy. The cotton stem portrays the boho look that we are going for with our boutique. This will reach customers that are looking for the boho sheak look and lead them into our direc-tion. We chose the writing of “Cotton Couture” to be both of our secondary colors to bring out the vintage, yet glamourous look along with the cotton.

The philosophy behind the logo and logotypes is portraying also that we are a proud supporter of Agriculture. Without the farming of clothing, the products that we carry in the store would not be available. The written words show that we are a femine store that is going for the boho sheek look.

Cotton Couture Print Ad

Cotton Couture’s Print Ad was created to bring a sense of feminism an elegance to the community. It portrays a classy woman that is modeling clothes from this season at the bou-tique, and also prove the fact that we are proud supporters of the agriculture industry. On the lettering at the top, we used a sense of shadowing affect to show some depth be-tween the back ground and the wording. This pops the boutique name and bolds it just a little more.

We kept the print ad simple but clean to keep the viewers focused on the picture in the middle. This will give them a feel of what kind of clothes we carry and reiterate the fact that we carry high end clothing.

We used flamingo pink as the dominant color of the ad to give it a “pop” of color and to show off the glamorous part of the boutique. We outlined the picture in Fancy Turquoise to give it some color. Also, to bring out the vintage/boho look that we are going for.

We are trying to reach women that have interest in up to date fashion, so we used sim-plicity to get the point of the boutique across and focus on the picture that is displaying clothes that we carry. What better way to advertise is using a beautiful girl and fancy cloth-ing! We are trying to catch the eyes of fashionistas so beauty and color is everything!

We used simple wording at the bottom to get the point across. We just shared our address and gave our website because we do offer online shopping. We used florence as the font for the writing at the bottom because it is easy to read for people that are new to town. This ad is also very easy to picture meaning it looks well in pictures that may get sent out.

BrochureCotton Couture Sample BrochureI am emphasizing the fact that we carry high end clothing at an affordable cost. We love to style happy customers and want them to feel like a million bucks. I am describ-ing the look that our model is wearing to emphasize the brands that we carry. We are known for the brands and clothes that we carry because we keep our customers up to date on the fashion industry and provide them for their needs.

We chose the brochure of squares layout because that is what best portrayed all of our information. We liked this look because it was simple to read and easy on the eyes. This type of brochure is good for many topics and pictures. To us, the more pictures the better because that is more advertisement for our product.

The photos that we used in the brochure are a perfect representation of what we stand for. We love the fashion industry and we love each beautiful girl that walk through our door. The model in the photos have helped us model our clothing since we started, and she does such an amazing job broadcasting for our brand. We used the cotton as the background to portray the boho sheek look that we are aiming for within the boutique. We also used our brand colors to bring in the vintage look that we strive to have as well. We are targeting women that have a passion in the fashion industry and care to keep up with the latest looks. The women in Corsicana have a high taste in fashion, so we try our best to provide the best looks for them. Since we also ship and reach customers outside of our city limits, we take request of what they are looking for. The women that usually reach out to us are women in their late 20’s.

The brochure will be distributed throughout other boutiques and shopping areas around town. Corsicana is very good on promoting small business and want them to succeed. I will also leave some at nail salons and beauty shops around town to catch the eyes of woman that are interested in this sort of look and simply love staying up to date on fashion without the headache of going out of town to complete their look.
