Vincent Sheppard has been distributed exclusively by Cotswold Furniture around Australia for nearly twenty years.

The introduction of the outdoor weave and Lucy Collections completed the range and Vincent Sheppard has since divided the brand into three; Vincent Sheppard Indoor Loom, Vincent’s Gar-den and Atelier No 7.

Featuring both contemporary and heritage pieces with neutral tones and a timeless quality, you will be inspired to create beautiful spaces in which to use these products.

All relevant products listed in this price list have been subject to the due diligence requirements of the Illegal Logging Prohibition Act 2012 and the Illegal Logging Prohibition Regulation Amend-ment 2013. The purpose of this Australian Government legislation is to eliminate the import into Australia of timber-based products manufactured from illegally-sourced logs.

At Cotswold Furniture, we strive to be as flexible as possible, offering a painting service which allows you to select a colour according to taste and project requirements.

Simply give us the colour ref-erence and brand (Dulux is preferred) and we will match to order.

If a choice of over 200,000 colour options is not for you, refer to the standard colour chart in this booklet and on our website.

We also offer a respray service, which gives the kraft paper loom a whole new lease of life. Repairs will be quoted on and we do prefer to do these during the qui-eter winter months.

A flexible painting service

The Invention

Although wicker strollers and prams were very popular in the beginning of the 20th century, they were also slow to produce and thus expensive. Furthermore, the rattan wicker would break now and again and wasn’t exactly a soft and comfortable material, especially for strollers. The creator set out to make a weave which was not only stronger than rattan, but also looked better and had a much softer feel to it, to make the material very tactile.

Finally, after various experiments the solution was arrived at by twisting and winding paper, known as Kraft Paper, around a fine steel wire. These paper-wrapped wires were then woven on a special weaving loom resulting in a fine regular and solid paper weave.

This extremely strong yet flexible material allowed the skilled craftspeople to shape the loom over the pram frames and so producing a smooth and attractive finish. With this new technique production times on prams tumbled and all the negative qualities disappeared, allowing the possibility of furniture production.

Materials

The indoor loom range is created using kraft paper wrapped around wire which is then woven on a loom. The finished material is then hand stretched over the frame of the product, be it timber or rattan. Rattan chairs and tables include brass feet. All products have protective gliders.

Standard white cushions in 100% cotton or toughened glass are included where applicable. Alternative cushion covers can be made to order.

The finished product is then painted to your specification prior to delivery.

50% deposit is required upon confirmation of order, remainder being due prior to delivery.

The title or ownership remains the property of Indie Co Pty Ltd t/a Cotswold Queensland until the invoice

is paid in full.

Lead and delivery times are estimated only.

Cancellation of order may incur loss of deposit.

Moving furniture from the original delivery address may void any guarantee.

Please alert our staff within 7 days of purchase if you have any concerns regarding your order.

Should you find after receiving your order, that you have chosen the wrong product or colour, please do not use the item. We may be able to exchange it if it is unused (this does not apply to cushions) but will not be able to do this if the furniture has been used or if you have not alerted us within 7 days.

Quality is very important at Vincent Sheppard, that is why all products are tested regularly in several institutes and universities.

The products have the following guarantees:

Exemptions for guarantee:Any damage arising from insufficient care, or from non-compliance with instructions and advice for maintaining and storing the furniture. This can be found online at www.cotswoldfurniture.com.au.

All products have been manufactured, packed and transported with care. If however, when receiving the goods, they don’t fulfill the standard quality, please bear the follow-ing guidelines in mind.

Transport Damage should be immediately reported either personally, or via the courier and include relevant supporting documentation such as the delivery docket, description of damage and photos where possible. Complaints regarding transport damage will not be accepted if they are not immediately reported. Moving furniture from original delivery address may void any guarantee.

Product defects must be communicated within 7 days of receiving goods. After this period complaints cannot be accepted.

Due to the difference in the colour of the natural Kraft paper, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match to the colours shown in the catalogue and on swatches and between deliveries for the clear natural finish. This also applies to a delay between painting for coloured items.
