What we will do
"A place which you never finish discovering. It would appear there is always something to discover. Rich with the most bizarre
of contrasts: every which way you turn, you glimpse picturesque, ugly, abject, magnificent, delicious and pleasant things".
Charles Dickens in 1843 described Genoa as a city which remains to be discovered, rich in history, quirks and legend.
A visit to the historic centre of Genoa begins at the Ancient Port: from here, our guide will accompany us inside the network of
characteristic alleyways, the so-called "caruggi", upon the discovery of hidden locations.
We will reflect upon the antique workshops, testimony of the traditions and best food and drink.

What we will see
Italian Riviera
Seborga
A stroll through the village
Church of San Martino and the Palazzo dei Monaci
What we will do
We leave Savona and make our way southwards along the splendid Italian Riviera, with impressive hills alternating with
characteristic village, cliffs and famous beaches.
We arrive at our destination: the Ligurian village of **Seborga””, perched on the crest of a hill, from which you can enjoy
panoramic views of the vegetation-covered mountains and beaches lapped by a turquoise sea.
We’ll stroll through the village alleyways, where the typical atmosphere of an ancient village reigns, amidst majestic houses,
small gardens and historic monuments.
What makes Seborga even more fascinating is its unusual self-proclamation as principality in the fifties, even going as far as to
elect a prince, although with merely symbolic functions.
The entire life of the village bears signs of this original status: along the streets we find cars with a special licence plate next to
the official number plate, in the shops we can purchase using “Luigini” coins issued by the principality, and the houses fly the
official, blue and white striped flag.
As we plunge into this haunting atmosphere, we cannot fail to admire the monuments in the town centre, such as the splendid
Baroque church of San Martino or the Palazzo dei Monaci which, in the 17th century, housed the mint which issued the
Luigini coins.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
This excursion does not include a guide.

Description
Centuries of history and suggestive settings transport us back in time to the Middle Ages as we explore two of Italy’s most handsome
medieval townships, Finalborgo and Noli.
What we will see
Finalborgo
Castel San Giovanni
Basilica of San Biagio
Convent of Santa Caterina
Noli
The Torre del Canto and the Torre del Comune
Medieval walls
Cathedral of San Paragorio
What we will do
We leave the port by coach, in the company of our tour rep, and make our way to the first stop on our journey, Finalborgo,
which is considered one of the most attractive townships in the whole of Italy. The settlement is undoubtedly medieval in
origin, although recent research suggests that it was founded several centuries earlier than was previously believed.
As we stroll through the streets of the old town, the imposing defensive mass of Castel San Giovanni and other notable
monuments such as the Basilica of San Biagio, the Convent of Santa Caterina and numerous Renaissance palazzi conjure an
almost palpable sense of history.
We leave Finalborgo for another of the Italian Riviera’s Medieval gems: the town of Noli. This gracious little settlement was
home to skilled merchants and courageous navigators who saw it become an independent maritime republic.
We explore the historic centre on foot, admiring the buildings that recount this fascinating history. There are the Torre del
Canto and the Torre del Comune, two of the “seventy-two towers of Noli”, of which but a few remain. Then there are the
surviving sections of the defensive walls that once formed an impenetrable barrier around the city, and the 12th-century
Cathedral of San Paragorio, one of the emblematic examples of Romanesque architecture in Liguria.

The Principality of Monaco is one of the smallest independent States in the world but despite its size it offers an incredible variety of
attractions, all to be discovered: from the ancient city, to the Casinos, to the Formula 1 circuit.
What we will see

Monte Carlo: Casino, boutiques
What we will do
To get to our destination, we will take the coach along the Fiori motorway, offering a suggestive glimpse of some typical
Ligurian villages.
After crossing the French border, we will arrive in the Principality of Monaco, one of the smallest independent states in the
world, its origins and history are indelibly linked to the Grimaldi family, who have ruled here for over 700 years. More
specifically, Prince Rainier III who reigned from 1949 to 2005, strongly supported the development of the Principality. Owing
to his fairy-tale marriage to the American actress Grace Kelly and the numerous initiatives he supported, the Rainier lineage
made this tiny State one of the most frequented by international jet-setters, turning it into a place where numerous world
events are held, some of which, delightfully for charity.

Grace, who was tragically killed in a car accident that is still shrouded in mystery.
Late morning, we will make our way, by coach, to the most well known part of the principality, Monte Carlo, with its Casinos,
luxury hotels, sophisticated lifestyle and the streets that, once a year, provide the course for the celebrated Monaco Grand
Prix. We can use the free time available as we like, to go on a pleasant walk or shop in the boutiques which offer the most

designed by the famous Genoese architect, Renzo Piano which, together with Lanterna, is seen, by the Genoese people, as
one of the most characteristic symbols of the ancient city, named "Superba".
Steeped in the wonder of what we have seen, we will now return to the coach and get back on the motorway to Savona.
The transfer to Genoa takes approximately 1 hour. The excursion is reserved for guests who do not disembark at Savona.

An opportunity not to be missed to explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Avignon, "the city of the Popes": a step back into the
history of the church and the Papacy, tracing the splendour of the reign of 7 pontiffs who brought prosperity and prominence to
Avignon.
What we will see
Palace of the Popes
Free time for shopping and exploring the city
What we will do
We leave the port of Marseille by coach, and head for Avignon, a journey that takes about one hour. The city of Avignon is
famous for having been the seat of the Papacy from 1309 to 1377, a period known as the Avignon captivity . Pope Clement
V transferred the Papal court from Rome to Avignon, from where 7 Popes reigned until 1377 and 2 antipopes stayed on
almost until the end of the 14th century, bringing a period of prominence and prosperity to the city.
Our tour takes us to the Palace of the Popes which has been recognised in France as a historic monument since 1840, and
as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. The building, which is both a palace and a fortress, is one of the most
extraordinary examples of Gothic architecture of the 14th century. It was built in two phases, by two popes: to the north, the
more austere Palais Vieux (Old Palace) was built during the reign of Benedict XII; the Palais Neuf (New Palace), to the south,
was built by his successor, Clement VI. Inside, the now-empty galleries, chambers and chapels give an apparent impression of
austerity. The frescoes and handwoven tapestries in the bedrooms and the Papal study however, give a better idea of the
pomp and splendour of times gone by.
Before going back to the ship, we have some free time for a walk in the streets of the centre or for shopping.

Cathedral of Notre Dame de la Garde and Church of Saint-Laurent
Le Panier quarter
Vieille Charité and Cathedral of Sainte Marie Majeure
What we will do
We leave from the left-hand side of the port and begin our tour of Marseille with a visit to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de la
Garde which is at the highest point of the city at an altitude of 162 m above sea level, from where we can see the whole of
Marseille laid out before us.
We will then make our way to the Church of Saint-Laurent, a handsome example of Provençal Romanesque architecture, built
in pink stone from Couronne, with splendid views of the Old Port.
It also marks the beginning of the quarter known as Le Panier ("the basket"), which is one of the oldest quarters of Marseille
and the old heart of the city. It owes its name to the Le Logis du Panier inn, an old establishment dating back to the 17th
century. This part of the city is a typical Mediterranean port neighbourhood with the fronts of houses painted in a variety of
colours and narrow winding streets. Historically a favoured haunt of sailors, it is now one of Marseille's most characteristic
areas.
Following a visit to La Vieille Charité originally an almshouse for the city's poor, now home to a cultural centre and a venue for
temporary exhibitions we have the opportunity to try a local speciality, the navette (little boat), a traditional biscuit flavoured
with orange blossoms that is baked in the shape of a boat.
After a short break, close to La Vieille Charité, we pay a short visit to the Neo-Byzantine Cathedral of Saint-Marie-Majeure
also known by the locals as La Major before heading back to the port.
Places on this excursion are limited. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
The itinerary may be subject to change.

What we will do
We will leave the port by coach and make our way to Aix-en-Provence, a university and spa city and the political hub of
Provence, located about 30 minutes away from Marseille.
As soon as we arrive in Aix-en-Provence, we will immediately notice its sophisticated atmosphere as we walk freely around
the romantic streets in the centre, admiring aristocratic residences dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
Our walk wouldn't be complete without a stroll along Cours Mirabeau, a stunning, tree-lined avenue boasting beautiful
fountains and numerous outdoor cafés.
Another must is the Mazarin Quarter, designed by the Archbishop Michel Mazarin, brother of the famous Cardinal.
In the same area we can also admire the Place des Quatre Dauphins or “Four Dolphins Square”, with a beautiful fountain
adorned by sculptures of four dolphins, and the Saint Sauveur Cathedral, featuring various architectural styles ranging from
the 5th to the 17th century, which can be admired from all sides.
Yet Aix-en-Provence isn't all history and art, it's also a vibrant town offering a host of activities. We will set some time aside to
independently explore the elegant streets dotted with typical shops, the local fruit and vegetable market or relax at a café.

MARSEILLE DISCOVERY & TASTE
What we will see
The Church of Saint Laurent and the view of the Old Port
La Major Cathedral and Esplanade
Museum Complex
Panier quarter, La Vieille Charité courtyard and loggia
What we will do
We begin our discovery tour of Marseille by taking the shuttle bus from the port to the Church of Saint-Laurent. The little
square in front of the church offers beautiful views of the Old Port and the hills surrounding the city.
We make our way downhill from the church towards Marseille's Neo-Byzantine cathedral, known locally as La Major. After a
tour around the outside of the building, we have a short stop in the new Esplanade, recently completed to coincide with
Marseille's nomination as the "European capital of culture 2013".
We then make our way to the new museum complex, which comprises three institutions: the Musée Regards de Provence, the
Ville Méditerranée and MuCEM the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations. Our guide will provide an overview
of each building from the outside.
We walk onwards, heading into the old heart of the city, the Panier quarter, with its artisan workshops and colourful, bustling
cafés.
Before we make our way into the web of narrow streets of the old town, we stop to visit the courtyard and the loggia of La
Vieille Charité, a building that originally served as an almshouse for the city's poor, but which is now home to a cultural centre
and a venue for temporary exhibitions. We then take another short break to sample the famous panissa, a sort of cake made
with just a few humble ingredients: chickpea flour, water and salt.
We make our way back to the Old Port, where we can either board the ship straight away, or spend a couple of hours of fee
time in the city centre.
Space is limited, so please reserve early. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The order of visits may vary.

Description
We will travel back through time and discover the remains of the ancient Roman colony of Barcino, the original heart of what is now
Barcelona. Traces of its legacy still remain today in the succession of buildings and architectural structures.
What we will see
Gothic Quarter
Plaça Nova
Via Laietana
Barcelona History Museum
Plaça del Rei underground complex
What we will do
Accompanied by our guide, we will begin our walking tour of what remains of Barcino, the Roman town that was the
foundation for modern-day Barcelona. As we stroll through the city, traces of this settlement will take us back in time to over
two thousand years ago.
We will venture into the labyrinth of streets that is the Barrio Gótico or Gothic Quarter. This district was the heart of political
and religious life in the Middle Ages and, even today, its layout is still faithful to the classic Roman Cardo and Decumanus grid
structure.
In Plaça Nova, traces of the Roman settlement abound in a string of architectural delights. We can still see the two semi-
circular towers that flanked the gateway to the Decumanus road, as well as sections of the city's defence walls and the arch of
an aqueduct.
Amidst temple columns and the remains of walls that peep up every now and then, almost casually incorporated into more
modern buildings, we will walk along Via Laietana, which takes its name from the first Iberian population to settle in this region.
Built in the early 20th century, it has retained the architectural heritage of the Roman walls.
A must on our tour of the Roman remains is the Barcelona History Museum, known as MUHBA, which has preserved and
exhibits Barcelona's rich historical heritage, from its Roman origins to the modern day.
The highlight of the tour is the Plaça del Rei underground complex where we can admire the remains of an entire district of
the Roman city of Barcino, which spans over 4,000 square metres with its narrow passageways.
Places on this excursion are limited. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

We meet our guide at the port and board the coach to the city centre. A short walk then takes us to La Rambla, the long tree-

by.
We walk to the starting point of our bike excursion. After our safety briefing, we are handed our electric bikes and get into the

We admire the lush greenery of the famous Parc de la Ciutadella, whose name derives from the fact that it was built over the

Antoni Gaudí at just 30 years of age. He continued to oversee its construction until his death and the church has yet to be

Description
Barcelona is the city where the great architect Antoni Gaudí produced his most important and famous works which today define the
look of the Catalan metropolis. We will visit four of them, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
What we will see
Parc Güell
Eixample district and Sagrada Familia
La Pedrera
Casa Batllò
Plaça de Catalunya and port area
What we will do
The first destination on our excursion will be the highly original Parc Güell, designed by Gaudí at the turn of the last century
and created in collaboration with his disciples.
Entering the park, we will be plunged into a surreal, picturesque setting: fairy-tale buildings, a gigantic salamander decorated
with mosaics, forests of columns and a house with spires where the artist lived for twenty years.
We will return to the coach and a short journey will take us to Eixample, the district that is home to the famous Sagrada
Familia church (tour of the exterior). This gigantic work is still under construction decades later, following the plans left by the
master architect. Our local guide will point out the most distinctive details of the façade, a demonstration of Gaudí's incredible
creativity in its own right.
Before continuing our tour, we will have some free time to stroll around the district and do a bit of shopping.
Then we will continue on towards Casa Milà, better known as La Pedrera (literally "The Quarry"), one of Gaudí's last works and
the greatest example of Catalan modernism. The building, the last civil work designed by the master architect, is a true
triumph of curved lines with undulating faces, chimneys that coil around one another and the magnificent wrought iron railings
resembling breaking waves.
The next masterpiece that we will visit on our tour is Casa Batllò, a residential building enveloped in a surreal atmosphere. We
will admire the façade and roof, covered entirely in glistening multi-coloured scales. The extravagant inventiveness of the
shapes is inspired by the legend of Saint George (the patron saint of Catalonia) who fought the dragon, alluded to in the
sinuosity of the roof, while the rows of balconies and bone-like structures symbolise the victims.
On our way back to the ship, we will pass through the commercial heart of the historic centre, the famous Plaça de Catalunya
and the port area before bringing this magical day to a close.
Places on this excursion are limited. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Description
Barcelona is Gaudí's city: he produced some of his greatest masterpieces there which we will discover one by one and be amazed by
their charm.
What we will see
Sagrada Familia: Nativity façade and Passion façade, church interior, construction works
Passeig de Gràcia
Casa Batllò (inside visit)
La Pedrera (photo stop)
What we will do
The first stop on our excursion is the Sagrada Familia, the iconic symbol of the city of Barcelona, a destination for visitors from
all over the world, believed by many to be one of the most extraordinary man-made monuments in the world.
It is a majestic Neo-Gothic church inspired by the great medieval cathedrals and built in a Modernist style: the Catalan version
of Art Nouveau.
It was the work of talented architect Antoni Gaudí, who designed it at the age of just 30 and dedicated the rest of his life to
completing it. Work began on the church in 1882 and is still ongoing, following the designer's plans. This will make our visit
even more fascinating as we will witness the creation of one of the greatest architectural masterpieces in the world.
Our guide will show us two of the façades that have already been completed: the Nativity façade and the Passion façade. Then
we will enter the church where expert artisans are working on this constantly evolving monument.
Then we will continue on towards Passeig de Gràcia, the most fashionable avenue in the city with its charming, modern
buildings like Casa Batllò, another of skilful Gaudí's masterpieces.
Much more than just a building, Casa Batllò holds an entire world of contemporary art, architecture and design, offering
visitors a unique, surreal experience. The extravagant inventiveness of the shapes is inspired by the legend of Saint George
(the patron saint of Catalonia) who fought the dragon, alluded to in the multi-coloured sinuosity of the roof, while the rows of
balconies and bone-like structures symbolise the victims.
We will end our tour admiring Casa Milà, better known as La Pedrera (tour of the exterior), Gaudí's last work. The building is a
true triumph of curved lines with undulating faces, chimneys that coil around one another and the magnificent wrought iron
railings resembling breaking waves.
Places on this excursion are limited. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Serra de Tramontana
Valldemossa
What we will do
Our helicopter excursion begins from Son Bonet Aerodrome, the international airport in Palma de Majorca.
As we take off, an enthralling *aerial view of the city of Palma unfolds beneath us, to reveal its most important monuments,
including the Gothic cathedral of Santa Maria, commonly known as “la Seu”, famous for its rose window and its immense size.
It is approximately 120 metres long, 70 m wide, and covers a surface area of 6,600 m². Its 44 metre-high vaults are some of
the highest in the world and make it the second highest Gothic cathedral. The Cathedral was begun in 1230 on the site of the
original main mosque and it holds the Royal Chapel, which houses the tombs of King James II and King James III. The west
wall of the cathedral was seriously damaged in an earthquake in 1851. In the 20th century, la Seu changed its appearance
under the hands of the Modernist Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, who added the altar canopy.
We’ll also get a good view of the port of Palma and the enormous cruise ships, which dock in Majorca during their
Mediterranean tours.
As we continue to fly over the area, we get a glimpse of Bellver Castle. Originally built as a military fortress to protect the
island, the castle is one of the symbols of the city and dominates the entire bay below. It is about 3 kilometres from the
historic centre of Palma and over the centuries has been put to various uses. King James II built it as a royal residence. In the
19th century, it became a coin mint.
It has a rare circular structure for a castle in Europe, three watch towers and a four-storey keep. Inside the castle is a circular
parade ground on two floors and a courtyard built over a storage tank. There is a chapel on the second floor.
Our trip continues until we are flying over the area of Son Vida, a luxurious residential area with golf courses, famous hotels
and dream villas, as well as elegant shops and clubs where celebrities can often be spotted.
Properties in this area can even top EUR 2 million in value.
Our helicopter tour continues towards the spectacular geography of the landscape of Serra de Tramontana, which was
awarded Word Heritage Site status by the UN in 2011.
Serra de Tramontana stretches for 90 km. It covers 30% of the territory of Majorca and boasts numerous peaks of over
1000 metres.
During our return journey towards the airport of Son Bonet Aerodrome, we can admire the village of Valldemossa to the
south. This typical, tiny village lies on the north coast and has a stupendous view over the sea. Chopin and the writer George
Sand lived for a long time in this romantic corner of Spain and their house is open to visitors. At the time, George Sand wrote
a book (“A Winter in Majorca”) set against the background of this lovely little village and in the summer months each year it
holds a festival dedicated to Chopin.
This excursion depends strictly on the weather conditions.
In the event of inclement weather the tour may be cancelled at short notice on safety grounds.
The excursion is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
The crew will provide information in English.

What we will do
This excursion will lead us to the splendid city of Palermo, presented to us with a short panoramic coach tour. After a visit to
the medieval church of Santa Maria dell'Ammiraglio, known as Martorana, we will delve into the daily life of the Sicilian capital,
traversing the alleys of the old city on foot to reach the heart of the largest and most famous market in the region: the Ballarò.
Here we will discover the animated and colourful effects of a population that is rich in traditions and customs, still deeply
entrenched in the souls of the locals even today.
Among the shouts, squalls and joking in local dialect, we will admire the artistically displayed juicy fruit, smell the strong
aromas of spices, taste a typical "panella", and inspect the freshly caught fish.
We will see the same courage and strength shine through in the wrinkles of the oldest vendors and in the eyes of the
youngsters that move between the stalls, offloading crate after crate.
In stark contrast, we will move from the busy, noisy streets to one of the most opulent, discreet and refined homes of the
ancient city, still inhabited today by descendants of the old noble family: Palazzo Conte Federico. The owners of the property

What we will do
The first part of our excursion involves a panoramic tour of the city to admire the most beautiful monuments: Teatro
Politeama, il Teatro Massimo, i Quattro Canti, il Palazzo Reale and Piazza Pretoria.
We will move on to visit the impressive Cappuccini Catacombs, a real insight into the past, where still today we can see more
than 8000 mummified bodies of monks, noblemen and citizens who still wear the clothes of the 18th and 19th centuries.
The final stage of this mysterious Palermo tour will take us to the Cattedrale, Gothic in appearance due to the presence of
towers with mullioned windows, columns and arched battlements that run along the entire side of the building; it also boasts
four towers from the Norman era and a beautiful dome, linked to Palazzo Arcivescovile with two large ogival arches from
which the bell tower, complete with clock, rises.
The interior houses the imperial and royal Norman tombs, around which there is a romantic and interesting story relating to
Roger II, king from 1130, his successor Frederick II and father Henry VI.
The visit to the Capuchin's Catacombs is not recommended for children and highly sensitive people.

What we will do
At the port of Civitavecchia we are met by a local guide who, during the coach trip to the centre of Rome, gives us practical
tourist information and a city map that will be very useful to explore one of the most fascinating cities in the world on our own.
After setting an appointment for our return, we leave the bus and we are immediately immersed in the magical atmosphere of
the Eternal City, where, at every turn, we encounter evidence of many centuries of history that have contributed to make the
city what it is today, from pagan times through the long earthly reign of the Popes up to the present.
Along elegant streets and in the narrow alleys, in the large and small squares, up and down the gentle slopes of the seven hills,
wandering around Rome is an unforgettable experience for everyone because this city offers a concentration of sublime art,
entertainment and shopping like very few other cities in the world.
The day is all ours to see, visit, buy and enjoy all that Rome has to offer, as we wish.
In the late afternoon, we return to the meeting point as agreed with our local guide at the agreed time to return on board.

What we will do
We will leave the port of Civitavecchia and begin a picturesque sightseeing tour of inland Lazio whilst we travel to Umbria.
Our destination is Orvieto, one of the oldest cities in Italy. Its origins date back to Etruscan civilisation and it lies on a tufa rock
cliff jutting out 50 metres from the valley's plain.
When we reach our destination, our guide will give us a map of the city and we will be free to explore Orvieto for half a day,
choosing what to visit and when.
Definitely worth a visit is the Duomo or cathedral, a colourful example of Roman-Gothic architecture boasting a varied
collection of works of art, and also the *papal palaces, one of which is home to the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo museum.
For those who love more unusual experiences, don't miss out on a fascinating tour of underground Orvieto, created over the
course of approximately 2,500 years by its ancient inhabitants and featuring uninterrupted excavations dotted with wells,

What we will do
We will leave the port of Civitavecchia with its hustle and bustle of people, ships and cars and head inland to the countryside,
where peace and tranquillity abound.
Our destination is a truly unique village: Civita di Bagnoregio, which will appear before our eyes, perched precariously on a
rocky spur.
We will get off the coach near the only access point: a long, pedestrianised bridge made from reinforced concrete, built to
benefit the few remaining residents and the tourists that come to visit the citadel from all over the world.
That is how we will enter this attractive Medieval town, known as "the City of Death" due to the gradual erosion of the tufa
foundations on which it was built.
We will walk around the tiny centre where time seems to have stood still, treating us to a truly surreal and unforgettable
atmosphere, with little stone houses adorned with flowers and lookout points offering breathtaking views of the enormous clay
walls that support the city and views of the surrounding valley.

Colosseum
Trevi Fountain
Pantheon
Piazza Navona
St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica
What we will do
When we arrive in Rome, we begin our visit with a sightseeing tour of the city (by coach) that takes us to some of Rome's most
famous monuments including the magnificent Colosseum, built by the Emperors of the Flavian dynasty for public
entertainment. We leave the coach to admire this symbolic monument of ancient Rome from the exterior and we continue on
foot.
Our itinerary takes us to the Trevi Fountain, a magnificent Baroque monument that attracts visitors to the Eternal City and is
also famous for the custom of throwing coins into the water with your back to the fountain: one to make sure you return to
Rome and a second one to make a wish.
The tour proceeds to the Pantheon, one of the best preserved monuments of Antiquity, built by the Emperor Hadrian in
honour of all the gods.
Our next stop is Piazza Navona, one of the landmarks of the city, which is still steeped in the atmosphere of the times when it
was the scene of circus games in 17th century Rome. Here we have free time for lunch.
Our main destination awaits us in the afternoon: St. Peter's Square with its magnificent Basilica. We stop to observe the
colonnade designed by Bernini that embraces the circular area of the square framing the façade of the Basilica and its huge
dome.
In our free time we can visit St. Peter's Basilica, the symbol of the Vatican State, built on the tomb of St. Peter. Inside there are
priceless treasures of art including the Pietà, the magnificent marble statue by Michelangelo.
After a last look at the heart of Christianity and after taking another few photos with which to remember it we return to the
coach that takes us back to the ship.

handed down to us.
What we will see
Vatican City, Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel
St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica

What we will do
We leave the port and travel by luxury coach to Rome, the cradle of civilization, where we are met by our local guide .
Our journey to discover the treasures of the City starts with the Vatican Museums which showcase masterpieces and priceless
art collections that are the result of the Popes' cultural patronage over the centuries. Our excursion includes priority entrance
to the Museums so there is no waiting or queuing.
Our guide accompanies us to discover the magnificent works on display, which range from Classical to Renaissance
masterpieces. The highlight of the itinerary is the Sistine Chapel, dominated by Michelangelo's famous "Last Judgement", in

When we come out we cannot fail to spend some time in St. Peter's Square embraced by Bernini's Colonnade and dominated
by the imposing structure of St. Peter's Basilica. This immense church, the largest in the world, was built on the site of St.
