To the Great Oaks membership, The elders would like to express our deepest appreciation to everyone for the surprise reception given us last Wednesday night. It was humbling but uplifting experience and it only made us more aware of what a special family you are. Your words, cards, and other expressions of love and encour-agement touched our hearts in indescribable ways, and it strengthened our commitment to be the type of shepherds that God would have us be and as well being the type of leaders you deserve. We realize that our duties are made easier by hardworking deacons, faithful ministers, and godly members, but we continue to covet your encourage-ment in that we will always lead in a godly way. Please continue to pray for us in that we will be vigilant for the truth, strong in the faith, and continually responsive to your needs. Thank you again for your kindness. In Him, Your shepherds

Great Oaks Family, Thank you so much for the texts,

calls, cards, concerns, and prayers before and after I had

surgery. A special thank you to Amy Cavataio for sitting

with Donald through the surgery, Kathy Hubbard for the

delicious meal, and Peggy for the visit and beautiful

flowers. Also thank you to the ladies care group for the

delicious banana nut bread. Everything was greatly ap-

preciated. We love you all. Evelyn Williams

(you will find it in your email) in order to get some feed-

back from our members that will help us plan for the fu-

ture. Please provide your name as well so that we can

respond to you to gain further clarity if needed.

Thank you!

Ladies Care Group, How wonderful to be on the receiv-

ing end of the delicious bread and lovely flowers Doro-

thy Scott delivered to me. That same day the doctor told

me I had a broken ankle, not a fracture, and it will be a

lengthy recovery period, so your thoughtfulness couldn’t

have come at a better time. Please keep me and Dana in

your prayers. :) Love and miss you all, Dee Ballantine

Tim and Great Oaks Family, Thank you all so much for

your prayers, thoughts, cards, notes, messages, and sup-

port during the passing of my brother (Ashley’s uncle) .

Everything was greatly appreciated. Reggie & Beverly Lat-

ttimore, Ashley and the Cannon Family.

There will be construction at the inter-

section of Brunswick and New Bruns-

wick Road for about 6 months. Ellis road will be closed for the duration. If

that is your usual route to the building,

you will need to consider

an alternate route.

Thank you so much, Church and friends. Thanks for the

special event for all of us. I felt supported by everyone who

spend time doing this and came that night and gave me

those words of encouragement and appreciation. Thanks

for your comments to me, my wife and my family too.

There are not words to describe how I felt that night.

Thanks for your prayer and support and cards. God bless

you. Elias Roque
