COMPACT MANIFOLD VALVES
Design Features and Benefits
Valve models are available in size range of 1” thru 12” nominal and up to API 15,000 psi working pressure and are bore sized to common piping schedules.
Provide reliable long-term service life and are much easier to service in the field.
Virtually any size and type of end connection is available (buttweld, threaded union, hub and crossovers to both ANSI and API flanges).
Ball valves offered with metal-to-metal ball-to-seat seals.
The fire-safe design provides a primary metal-to-metal seating at the valve bonnet and end connections.
Ball valves are a quarter turn design and can be supplied as either manual lever or actuated.
Why Compact?Less Space Less Weight
CORTEC Compact Manifold Valves are designed for
high pressure isolation and offer considerable space and
weight savings when compared to traditional ANSI and
API class valves. CORTEC compact manifold valves are
available in a range of bore sizes and working pressures.
CORTEC compact manifold valves are designed to
provide reliable long-term service life and ease of main-
tenance. Unique bolted body and end connections make
valve removal from the line easy, making repairs simple.
Disassembly is accomplished without the need for any
special tools and replacement parts are also easily field
installed.Custom configurations available

The CMS Model DTB Ball Valve is a double trunnion design. The ball is held firmly in place by twotrunnion blocks, allowing only rotational movement.Independent upstream and downstream seats arespring-loaded and are always in contact with the ball, which provides an effective tight seal even at very lowpressures. The double trunnion design permits ease ofoperation and significantly reduces torque. Our use ofdouble trunnions and spring-loaded seats is an ex-tremely robust and reliable configuration. The DTB Classball valve can be supplied with optional metal seats.Every valve is equipped with stainless steel vent fittingthat allows the body cavity to bleed easily.

The CMS Model FLB ball valve is a floating ball and dual floating seat design. The floating ball is preloaded between the seats during assembly andmoves incrementally tighter against the seats as pres-sure increases. It will provide a reliable positive shutoffin either flowing direction. The removable bonnet designallows for field replacement of the stem seal withoutremoving the valve from the flowline. A stainless steelbody injection fitting is a standard feature for providingroutine lubrication of the body cavity, which reduces thevalves operating torque and extends the service life. Itcan also be used for the injection of emergency sealant. The FLB class valve is available with throttle balls forthrottling under high differential pressures.
The CMS Model NC Floating Ball Valve is a Non SeatCarrier version of our FLB Class Valve. This valve designoffers maximum quality while delivering the mosteconomical product solution possible.

The CMS Subsea Ball Valve is engineered to perform in a wide range of environmental subsea serviceconditions. It is specifically designed to offer the userreliable trouble free operation and high integrity sealing. The valve has numerous features specifically engi-neered to cope with the harsh subsea environment.Features comprise a split ring thrust collar that preventsthe stem from being displaced into the ball by isolatingthe hydraulic stem thrust. Hyperbaric sealing employedas necessary to prevent water ingress, if cathodic pro-tection is required, electrical continuity between valvecomponents can be provided. Valves are offered insingle or double ball variants and can be configured aseither floating or trunnion design. They are readilyoperable with industry standard ROVs via a standardAPI-17D interface or alternatively an easy grab handlethat can be configured to show valve position.

CMS Model “STC” Compact Check Valve
The CMS Model STC check valve is a swing type checkvalve designed for high pressure applications. Theresilient seal design is installed away from the erosioneffects of the flow stream, providing reliable backflowprevention. The field replaceable stainless steel compo-nent parts reduce downtime and associated mainte-nance costs. High torsion Inconel springs allow forinstallation in both vertical and horizontal configurations.

Compact Poppet Diverter Valve
CMS Model “PD” Poppet Diverter Valve
The CMS Compact Poppet Diverter Valve is a convenient solution for a three-way diversion of flowwhen space and weight are critical. The CMS PoppetDiverter can allow for fast and easy diversion of flowbetween production and test headers.
Rather than using two ball valves to manage headerselection, our Poppet Diverter will allow you to divert flowin one execution. For each poppet diverter valve that isutilized, it will allow you to eliminate up to two ball valvesfrom the header system. More space and weight issaved, along with the need for additional welding.Further space and weight is saved, when using thePoppet Diverter Valve, if valve automation is required.
The CMS Poppet Diverter Valve is a robust and reliabledesign that also allows for easy replacement andservice, if needed. Because the poppet diverter valvehas wide open flow zones, when operating in eitherconfiguration, it lends itself to low seat wear, reducedmaintenance, and minimal vibration.
