The Economical impact in Qatar:
Oil and gas constitute one of the most important industries in Qatar and corrosion presents a big challenge to them so it is very important to control the corrosion process to reduce the economic loss.

Conclusion
Aminotriazole thiol is a highly efficient green inhibitor for carbon steel specially at concentration higher than 0.5x10-3 M.
Aminotriazole thiol inhibition takes place via chemical adsorption on steel surface as revealed from EDX analysis.
