This is with reference to the Tender No.GC14EST287 for which Pre-Bid meeting was held on 09.02.15. During the Pre-Bid Meeting various issueswere discussed and clarifications is being issued here by for the queries asked by one of the bidder which is given below in Part-A. In addition tothe clarification of queries, corrigendum is being issued for technical clarification regarding clause no 3.16 of Chapter-1 of Annexure-A which isgiven below in Part-B:

PART-B (CORRIGENDUM FOR TECHNICAL CLARIFICATION REGARDING CLAUSE NO 3.16 OF CHAPTER-1 OF ANNEXURE-A):

Clause No. 3.16 of Chapter-1 of Annexure-A (Page No. 4 of 52) shall be read as:

Site Enabling Job:The proposed new Flare Stack will be located on North West of the Refinery. (Please see DFR Copy 28 page of Annexure-B) at a FGL 84 meter. The

contour map of the existing area of the North West side of the Refinery is showing the new Flare location is attached as Annexure-C (Drg No

GR/TSP/P/01).

Presently the area is hilly which will require development with proper infrastructure to install new Flare stack. The area development will also require

proper and adequate approach roads for movement of heavy vehicle like fire tender, crane, hydra, ODC equipment etc. to the area up to the flare

stack.

While considering the development of the area shown in the drawing for the flare stack, the bidder has also to consider development of nearby area

towards both the north-eastern and the southern side also. This additional area development is clearly marked on the drawing enclosed herewith

(Drg No: GR/TSP/P/01-highlighted in green).

While considering the development of additional area, the bidder has to consider adequate approaches for movement of heavy vehicles, equipment

as defined above. Detailed Engineering of the above will be under the scope of EPCM.

Agency for carrying out the execution of enabling job for the total area including flare stack area will be lined up by IOCL GR. All engineering

documents and other input required for site enabling shall be provided by EPCM Consultant.

Site supervision of execution of enabling job of the total identified and finalized area will be under the scope of EPCM Consultant and EPCM

Consultant shall be compensated on man-month rates for construction specialist.
