OFFERTORY

We will have our Advent Retreat featuring Fr. Victor Reyes on Tuesday, December 13th through Thursday, December 15th. The retreats will begin after the 7 p.m. daily mass and be followed

by light refreshments. The Tuesday, December 13th session will be in English, Wednes-

day, December 14th will be in Spanish and on Thursday, December 15th there will be no mass as we will have two sessions: an English session beginning at 6:30 p.m. and a Spanish session beginning at 8 p.m. Our Advent Penance service will be on Friday, De-

cember 16th at 6:30 p.m. There will not be a 7 p.m. mass on Dec 16th.

Breakfast with Santa will be here soon! Come and bring the children on Sat-

urday, December 3 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the gym. There will be a wonderful pancake breakfast, games for the kids, crafts, face painting, a cake walk and of course a visit with Santa. Tickets are $5, children under 2 are free. We can’t wait to see you there.

PLEASE NOTE: The ofGice will be closed on Thursday, De-cember 14th. The staff will be offsite attending a retreat.

The Monastery of the Holy Spirit will be hosting, through our parish liaison, its annual holiday gift sale here in the Stone Mountain Room at Corpus Christi on December 3rd from 4:30-6:30 & December 4th from 8:30-1:00. It is

the goal of those in monastic life to make all actions and thoughts an expression of God’s will, where work itself becomes a form of prayer. It is in this spirit that the monks pro-duce and offer their handmade food items to you and your loved ones this holiday season. The monastic labor of making fruitcake, fudge and biscotti is an important part of their life. It helps provide them with the Ginancial means to support themselves. Local honey and free trade coffee are also available for purchase. Cash and checks only please.

The Feast Day for Our Lady of Guadalupe will take place Monday, December

12th. We will celebrate with a reenactment at 6 p.m. in the church. There will be no 7 p.m. daily mass on this day. After the reenactment, we will have a celebra-tion in the gym beginning at 8 p.m.
