SUNCARE (“NO HAT! NO PLAY! Makes for a Sad Day”)

Reminder as of the 1st September all children are required to

wear their Sunhats when involved in all outdoor activities.

Thank you for your continued cooperation.

2018 INTENTIONS If your family’s intentions for 2018 have changed and you will not be returning to Corpus Christi in 2018, could you please advise the School Office or Mr Lucardie as soon as possible.

This will assist us with forming our classes for 2018. Thank you for your continued assistance.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PARENTS AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION

Dear Parents/Carers/Guardians What a great success Father’s Day Pizza Night was! We hope you enjoyed your day with your loved ones.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Claire Waldron, Vanessa Barbetti, Simone Sky, Tina Kalaitzis and Rawaa Mansour for volunteering to help us on the night. Without the help of volunteers, we as the Parents and Friends Association would not be able to organise such events to bring our community to-

gether. We hope that all the parents enjoyed their night with their children and look forward to bringing you many other fun filled events.

CADBURY CHOCOLATE BOXES

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CHOCOLATE BOXES AND MONEY ARE NOW WAY OVERDUE. PLEASE RETURN ALL CORRECT MONIES (TOTAL VALUE OF THE BOX $50) IN THE ENVE-

LOPE PROVIDED IN THE BOX WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME AND CLASS CLEARLY MARKED.

CORPUS CHRISTI DISCO NIGHT

Term 4 brings you to our Disco Night on Friday 27th October 2017. We have a DJ for the night where we hope to see you all dancing, along with pizza, flashing water bottles, glow sticks, popcorn and zooper doop-

ers for sale. Prices will be advised closer to the date. To avoid excess ordering of pizzas, this year you will be able to pre-order and pre-pay for your pizza slices. A note will go home the first week of Term 4.

PLEASE RETURN YOUR ORDER SLIP WITH THE CORRECT MONEY IN AN ENVELOPE WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME AND CLASS CLEARLY LABELLED

ON THE FRONT.

These slips will then be returned to your children so that you can claim your pizza on the night.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS

Christmas Carols will be in early December. This is an opportunity for our school community to come to-gether and celebrate before the year comes to a close. Our children will be performing on the night and a sau-

sage sizzle will be provided. Water bottles will be available for purchase on the night.

The Parents and Friends Association would like to thank you all for helping us raise the funds to purchase educational resources for our children. As you know, we are looking at purchasing Interactive Whiteboards

for our children’s classrooms. Without your help with Fundraising, we would not be able to do this.

Thank you from the Parents and Friends Association.

CORPUS CHRISTI PARENTS ASSOCIATION MEETING

The Parents’ Association plays an important role in providing social, fundraising and recreational ac-tivities for our school. Without the Parents’ Association annual contribution to our budget, an in-crease in school fees could result to cover the financial shortfall.

Thank you to our wonderful Parents’ Association for your tireless efforts. Much appreciated. The next General meeting of our Corpus Christi Parents’ Association will take place on: TBA

Double Parking /Driveway Parking- WIDFORD STREET

It is important that parents park legally to provide a safer environment for

our children. Double parking or parking in neighbouring driveways re-

stricts the view of drivers, forcing children and parents onto the road and

obstructs the flow of traffic.
