MATERIAL

Copper content: Our cable conductor is made up of 99.995% pure copper, which

gives you a cable with high current carrying capacity of a cable than others.

Oxygen content: The oxygen content in the copper used at LAPP is <10 ppm and

hence it lessens the chances of oxidization, giving higher flexibility to copper.

Percentage elongation: A relative higher % copper used gives a greater elasticity

to the material and hence less prone to wire snap during installation, lug termination.

Silver: The amount of silver content in the copper gives better conductivity. We use

higher amounts with respect to the application area in particular.

Insulation: Apart from the basic resin/plastic, PVC compounds also contain a lot of

fillers, plasticizers and stabilizers. While the fillers are added to get better electrical

parameters and plasticizers to bring softness to the material, stabilizers give thermal

stability to the material.

Low chances of wire snap, Greater tensile strength, Greater sustaining of pull and

fatigue.
