Statutory Compliances

• Reservations require a non-refundable 50% Booking Deposit with signed quotation.

• For non account holders, payment in full is required ten days prior to the event date. A Credit Card Security Deposit is required to cover additional charges such as items not returned, damages or extended rentals.

• All prices are subject to VAT.

Our company complies with Irish statute and licensing requirements including:

• Insurance: We manage our own comprehensive insurance policy designed to meet the evolving needs of the Event industry in Ireland.

• Revenue Commissioners (IRS): We are registered and compliant practitioners of all legal requirements stipulated by the Revenue Commissioners of Ireland.

• Health and Safety: Our employees implement a 'best practice policy' regarding all Health and Safety issues when working on or off site.

• Environmental: We adhere to all Government licensing requirements and implement the 'best practice policy' concerning the correct disposal and recycling of all waste created in the course of our business.

• Orders may be placed by phone, e-mail or fax, subject to confirmation by Hanley Event Group.

• A Hire Period is three (3) days or part thereof, inclusive of delivery and collection.

• Extension to the hire period can be made by prior arrangement and will be liable to additional rates as agreed by the Owner and the Hirer.

•  Failure to return rented items by the agreed return date will result in additional hire charges.

• All orders are shipped via Hanley Event Group trucks or agreed couriers.

• When goods on hire are collected by or delivered to the Hirer or his representative, the Hirer has the responsibility for inspecting the goods and signing the collection/delivery note.

• In the event of shortage or damage, the Hirer shall endorse the note accordingly at the time of collection or delivery.

• If the Hirer fails to perform any of his/her obligations under this condition, all goods will be deemed to have been collected/delivered in a satisfactory condition and as specified in the delivery note.

• Shortages and damages to hired goods will be charged at their full replacement value (details of which are identified in the contract). No substitute item will be accepted by the Owner.

• Damaged goods include those that have sustained burns, scorches, tears, defacement, ink, concrete and earth stains, and/or candle wax.

• The Hirer may request the return of any damaged goods (bearing the cost thereof) within 21 days of being informed of any such damage. After 21 days all such items shall be disposed of.
