Rigel is the Green Restroom Specialist with a history of 25 years in researching green restroom products with cutting edge technology. In Rigel Innovation Centre, we strongly believe that research and development (R&D) is the backbone of our business. Our product must be Green, Intelligent and Hygienic.

Our continuous efforts in innovating water saving products have produced best quality products which we will never compromise. Putting the best into our products through robust innovative design and best manufacturing processes is what Rigel seeks to pursue. We aim to produce the highest quality standard in order to meet our customer’s demands.

Our fundamental principle of customer care is to fulfill all our promises that we have committed. Our 4-stage Customer Care Programme provides 24-hr customer care and strives to solve every customer issue as if it was our own and we will not hesitate to travel the extra mile to get things done for our customers.

CORPORATE Overview

Founded in 1991, Rigel is a Singapore-based restroom specialist that specialises in design, manufacturing, marketing and supply of green restroom and bathroom products.

Rigel seeks to continually expand its global presence especially in emerging markets such as Chile, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

In 2014, Heliconia Capital Management, an investment firm owned by Temasek Holdings, invested in Rigel to boost its product innovation, R&D capabilities as well as its overseas expansion plan.

Rigel is looking to expand further in Middle East and Latin America. We also have an extensive distribution network that covers almost every corner of the world from Asia to Europe as well as Australia to North & South America.

NEW HQ

On 8th April 2016, Singapore Finance Minister, Mr Heng Swee Keat officially launched Rigel’s S$35 million new global headquarters and innovation centre at Changi Business Park, a move to boost business development in Indochina, South Asia and China. Flushed with demand for high-tech and quality sanitation products in these countries, Rigel’s latest innovation centre is aimed at researching, testing and discovering new products.

The innovation centre is equipped with state-of-the-art automation capabilities and the testing laboratories to fully support product innovation and quality manufacturing. It houses a R&D incubation room to stimulate ideation and brainstorming as well as a complete suite of semi-automatic manufacturing line and testing labs for quality control of invented products before mass manufacturing. With this, Rigel seeks to expand its product offerings by developing 30 to 50 new innovative products every year. In order to support its expanding R&D activities, Rigel also foresees a 40% increase in future hires of researchers and design engineers.

Through our 4-stage Customer Care Programme, Rigel is committed to ensure a water-tight solution for clients in all stages. During Pre-Installation Briefing, site personnel are trained in the stringent norms of installation to mitigate any issues. Products undergo Testing & Commissioning by our technicians to ensure they are functioning optimally before handing over to customers.

Maintenance Training pertaining to troubleshooting and maintenance procedures is given to end-user to familiarize them with the operating usage of Rigel products. Periodic Checking together with Rigel’s extended warranty covers defects and workmanship to ensure products remain in good order.

Rigel has produced the best quality product offerings, achieving coveted certifications such as the LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification from the United States’ Green Building Council, the BCA Green Mark from Singapore’s Building & Construction Authority and more.

The Singapore Green Building Product certification is given only to products that meet stringent environmental standards set by the Singapore Green Building Council.

The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design certification is awarded based on the eco-friendliness of the design, with certification levels ranging from Certification, to Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Rigel’s water-efficient taps and mixers have high WELS ratings, thus helping developers to achieve a higher Green Mark rating and owners to save water and cost.
