Internal Conol Conibung to Cultural Exchange

Management PhilosophyAt the core of Inabata’s management approach is our

Mission of conibung to socie’s development in the

humanitarian spirit of “love (ai)” and “respect (kei),”

two core values that have been there in the company

since its foundaon. Along with the company Values,

Inabata is run according to our Vision: “to connually

evolve, serving clients and socie through our global

operaons and meeng their changing needs.” We

ensure awareness and understanding of these state-

ments by having them publicized on various communi-

caon plaorms.

SystemIn order to ensure regulatory compliance and compli-

set up together with conol oces such as Risk Man-

whistle-blowing system has been inoduced to monitor

instances of suspected non-compliance.

Furthermore, we are working to ensure internal conol

within the group, including the subsidiaries, through

enhanced audits by the Internal Audit Oce and audit

& supervisory board members.

Inabata's connecon with France goes back to the laer half of the nineteenth century when the founder, Katsutaro Inabata, was sent to the couny to study dyeing technique. Aer returning to Japan, Katsutaro set up a business to import dyestus and dyeing/weaving machinery om France. Katsutaro was also highly commied to cultural exchange between Japan and France. Currently Inabata supports the Académie de Musique Française de Kyoto hosted by the Instut ançais du Japon-Kansai, as well as acvies of the Société anco-japonaise d’Osaka, to promote es between the two counies.

Our founder, Katsutaro Inabata, spent me as a student in France and so was eager to promote cultural exchange and iendship with other counies. Katsutaro served as vice-consul for Portugal in Kyoto, and his successor as president of Inabata & Co., Taro Inabata, also served as honorary vice-consul, in Osaka. e fourth president, Katsuo Inabata (now Counselor of Inabata & Co.) was the rst president of Sociedade Luso-Nipónica de Osaka. At present, Katsutaro Inabata, the sixth president of Inabata & Co., who also serves as honorary Osaka consul, has carried on his predecessor’s posion as president of the socie, working to promote Japan-Portugal relaons.
