Now and Forever Oncology NursingWorld Health Organization The Year of the Nurse and the Midwife

Les soins infirmiers en oncologie d’aujourd’hui et de demainOrganisation mondiale de la Santé Année des infirmiéres et des sages-femmes

The Corporate Opportunities outlined in this Prospectus provide a unique way to show your support of The Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology/Association canadienne des infirmières en oncologie (CANO/ACIO) and to increase your brand awareness, network and make connections, showcase your resources, products, services and technologies, educate the oncology nursing community and collect market insights.

CONFERENCE – THE VIRTUAL EDITIONGiven the state of the world we currently reside in with the COVID-19 pandemic, CANO/ACIO has had to pivot, like so many others, to bring our highly anticipated Annual Conference into the virtual format. As it has always been, this will be the largest gathering of Canadian oncology nurses this year. The virtual conference will feature an excellent education program that helps connect oncology nurses across Canada and advance the oncology nursing field. We are expecting that the virtual conference will attract between 200 and 300 participants.

We are promoting this as an extra special year to celebrate oncology nursing. Our annual Awards of Excellence Ceremony kicks off the virtual conference on Friday, November 6. There has never been a more appropriate time to celebrate oncology nurses in this Year of the Nurse and the Midwife. Information is contained below as to how you can join us for this extra-special event.

ABOUT CANADIAN ONCOLOGY NURSESCANO/ACIO represents over 1,000 oncology nurses nationwide spanning roles across the cancer care trajectory, from research to patient care and education, to management. Our members work across all practice settings and across all areas of cancer care from hematology, breast cancer, and GI cancer to symptom management, screening, surgical care, and palliative care.

OUR MISSIONTo advance oncology nursing excellence through practice, education, research and leadership for the benefit of all Canadians.

OUR VISIONCANO/ACIO is a driving force nationally and an influencing force internationally in advancing excellence in cancer nursing across the cancer control spectrum. Second, to enhance timely access to high-quality nursing for Canadians across the cancer spectrum.

Focus Group$3,000 Take advantage of this valuable opportunity to have a direct, detailed and cost–effective conversation with motivated conference delegates. Focus Groups are intended to reach a targeted section of our membership and conference delegates. While you are encouraged to take the lead in securing attendees for your session, CANO/ACIO will support you in targeting invitations and attempting to secure relevant participants.

We expect each Focus Group to attract 10 to 15 oncology nurses. A focus group of this size provides the optimal opportunity for all participants to share their views and expertise, with adequate discussion.

In 2020, CANO/ACIO will make a maximum of four Focus Groups available within the conference program, scheduled concurrently. Times for these sessions are still to be determined and will depend on the number of interested companies. These are available on a first-come first-served basis, and will be listed in the Final Program.

See Focus Group Proposal Form below.

Rapid Fire Product Sessions$1,000 Space is provided within the conference program for Rapid Fire Product Sessions. Rapid Fire Product Sessions provide you the opportunity to feature a product or service to conference delegates in attendance. This can be used as an excellent supplement to the virtual exhibit booth.Rapid Fire Product Sessions are a maximum of 10 minute recorded video for product/service promotion. They will be displayed during the program sessions. Each session will feature three recorded videos from sponsoring organizations. Two sessions will be available in the program for a maximum of six rapid fire product video spots.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8 – 1:30 – 2:00 PM (EST)SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7 – 3:00 – 3:30 PM (EST)

Question and answers can be directed to attendees at your virtual booth. CANO/ACIO will host the rapid fire product sessions and all videos in that session will run back-to-back.

Sponsor is responsible for providing the finished 10 minute video no later than October 15, 2020. A schedule will be developed for all rapid fire product sessions before the end of October. CANO/ACIO will, to the best of its ability, avoid scheduling competing products/services within the same session.

Rapid Fire Products must submit the following details: 1. Product/Service Name2. A one paragraph description of the product/service3. Two to four learning goals/objectives
