The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority

The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) is the main regulatory body in the Cayman Islands which oversees open-ended

investment funds, fund managers and persons or entities marketing investment funds. The statutory framework under which CIMA derives

its supervisory responsibilities (in respect of investment funds and investment managers) is set out in the Mutual Funds Law and the

Securities Investment Business Law (the SIB Law).

Regulation of Funds & Fund Administrators

The Mutual Funds Law (MFL) gives the CIMA responsibility for regulating certain categories of funds operating in and from the Cayman

Islands. The law also provides the regulation of mutual fund administrators by CIMA.

Directors and officers (D&O) liability insurer: CHUBB

The D&O insurance covers claims against the directors and/or officers of Albany Creek commenced by investors, regulators, and other

third-party stakeholders for any actual or alleged negligent act, error or omission, misstatement or misrepresentation, or breach of fiduciary

or other duty in the operation of hedge fund. The policy is written in an insuring agreement that provides a broad range of coverage for

any wrongful act except for certain acts that are specifically excluded.

Currently Albany Creek has D&O insurance coverage by CHUBB of up to 50 million USD.

Risk Management is key to Albany Creek Investment Management Strategy and the Company have developed and adapted a control framework for

each of the funds under management. A significant proportion of resources and personnel within Albany Creek Investment Management are allocated to

the function of risk control and oversight. We look at risk and control from three perspectives: portfolio and asset risk; operational risk and portfolio

monitoring, including investment constraints and restrictions; and legal and regulatory risk, including compliance.

There is a dedicated Operations team at Albany Creek Investment Management that is responsible for daily oversight of portfolio monitoring, investment

restrictions and constraints, counterparty exposure and operational risk. This role is usually performed by at least two individuals for each fund.

Additionally, there is a higher level portfolio and asset risk management oversight role conducted on at least a weekly basis by the Portfolio Risk

Management team, usually undertaken by one individual that will consider areas such as tracking error and risk-adjusted performance as well as

evidence of style drift.

Any areas of concern arising out of either team’s review are escalated within the risk management team and investigated further where appropriate.

Separate to these functions the Compliance Officer is responsible both for internal control and oversight of the processes and controls in place within

the other teams, as well as the regulatory and legal compliance for each fund.
