•To choose a printer on our system it is necessary to press the CHOOSE PRINTER ICON in the APPLICATIONS GROUP.•This will bring up the screen below.•Press the CHOOSE PRINTER button.

•This will give you a choice of the type of printer youwish to use.•In this example we are choosing a laser printer.•Press the button marked LASER PRINTER.

•This will give you a choice of destinations for your printingdepending where you are located.

•In our case the destination is Stg IT Centre Postscript(Mappin Building).

•If you are not on your HOME server you may get amessage indicating that the connection may be lostwhen you logout.•If this is the case then you will have to rerun theprinter chooser each time you login.

•When the chooser has finished you will get the followingscreen indicating that you are now connected to the STGIT Centre Postscript printer.•Press CLOSE to exit from the Choose Printer.
