and preferences.

Our vision helps us focus on what truly matters.

Working closely with our extensive global network of

dealer partners, we are committed to ensuring that, as

Unique Products & ServicesWe are proud to offer distinctive financial products and services to our customers and dealers, whose satisfaction is our overarching objective. Some examples of our differentiated product offerings include the following:

In 2018, Toyota Credit Canada rolled out a range of Creditstream enhancements across the Toyota and Lexus dealer networks. The company improved contract validation and document upload capabilities and introduced a mobile e-signature tool for customers. These features dramatically advanced internal efficiency and validation controls as well as customer satisfaction. The transition establishes the platform for even more technology enhancements in the future.

Retail Fraud Prevention (Mexico)

Toyota Financial Services Mexico introduced a high-tech fraud prevention initiative to combat organized crime. The company employs fingerprint scanners that verify a customer’s identity, tracking to a database and ensuring that supplemental forms of identification are valid. Now, TFSM is exploring using the same biometric validation to enhance customer service by simplifying customer account access.

Toyota Personalised Rate (Australia)

Toyota Finance Australia offers an interest rate that’s tailored to consumer financial circumstances. Instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach, consumers are now offered a customized interest rate based on their credit score and other criteria determined by Toyota Finance.

Cityhop (New Zealand)

TFS New Zealand offers ‘cars by the hour’ through Cityhop, the country’s largest car share operator. The company operates a fleet of more than 100 vehicles for members to book, unlock and drive with their Cityhop access card. Parking, petrol, insurance and maintenance are all included in the low hourly rate, allowing thousands of individual and business members to save time and money.

"The transformation of the traditional automotive industry into a multimodal mobility services industry is moving quickly forward. Only those market participants who can cope with these deep and disruptive changes will be able to sustain their role in a new mobility ecosystem.

Following the global TFS Vision Create Value by Enabling Freedom of Movement TFS Europe & Africa Region (EAR) has already developed new key strategic initiatives in order to expand the value chain in the Digital, the Fleet and the Mobility business. Now we are in the process of implementing innovative business ideas by founding new companies, building new cooperations with external business partners and setting-up new organizational structures.

Thus TFS EAR is not just prepared for the future – we are already creating our own business transformation and bringing new business opportunities to life. All this is founded on a very strong collaboration with Toyota Motor Europe (TME) and a TFS EAR team of highly inspired and skilled employees."

Toyota Fleet Mobility (TFM)In September 2018, a new company was founded as a joint venture of Toyota Financial Services and Toyota Motor Europe. Shareholders are TFSC in Japan (51%) and TME in Brussels (49%).The European headquarters of Toyota Fleet Mobility (TFM) is located in Cologne, Germany. Local TFM companies are established in 2019 in the first 3 key markets of Spain, France and Italy. Further market entrances of TFM are planned in 2020 and beyond. Starting with financial services and vehicle services for SME (Small & Medium-sized Enterprises), TFM will also offer telematics and mobility services for fleet customers in the midterm and expand to a multibrand fleet operator and mobility provider in the long term.

Cooperation on MobilityIn 2018, Mobilitas - a dedicated Toyota Mobility organization – was established in Europe. This organizational pentagon consists of the mobility & connected car unit at TME in Brussels, Toyota Financial Services, Toyota Insurance Management, Toyota Fleet Mobility and Toyota Connected in London, UK.

The aim of this new organization is to offer integrated, on-demand mobility services to cities, corporations & individuals.
