Muñoz Holdings, Inc., was founded by Antonio J. Muñoz in 1988 based on a business philosophy of making a valuable contribution to the economic and social development of Puerto Rico. As a rapid-growth society, Puerto Rico continues to need quality facilities for business growth and social development.

Our company, therefore, quickly became successful as a full service real estate developer, specializing in commercial, retail and warehouse facilities, as well as residential projects.

We have grown into a multi-disciplinary organization with extensive experience in the planning, development, construction, management and financing of real estate ventures.

For more than 30 years, our firm has developed and successfully managed more than 1.3 million square feet of office, retail and warehouse space and more than 1,500 residential units. That sterling track record affirms our corporate culture as a performance-oriented real estate developer and a dynamic promoter of sports and special events.

We continue to seek growth in areas of business that contributes to satisfying the economic and social needs of our community, while improving the quality of life and the value of our society.

MB Sports, Inc. has delivered outstanding sports and special events to audiences in Puerto Rico since its inception in 2003. Our first premier sports attraction brought the Montreal Expos to San Juan to play 22 regular season games against other Major League teams, exposing fans on the island to the largest array of professional baseball talent ever to cross the diamond at Hiram Bithorn Stadium.

Partnering with Major League Baseball (MLB), we were responsible for every aspect of this highly successful sports event, including facilities management, corporate sales and marketing, television production, promotion and ticket distribution. The games attracted more than 382,000 fans and established MB Sports as a leading event producer in the market.

That success was repeated again in 2004, when the Montreal Expos and MLB came to Puerto Rico for yet another 22 game stand in San Juan, which led to the creation of the most spectacular international series ever staged by Major League Baseball.

MB Sports has produced the 2006, 2009 and 2013 World Baseball Classics as well as 2010 Marlins vs Mets and 2018 Twins vs Indians Major League Series in Puerto Rico. All of which were sold out games. In addition MBS has worked with figures like ex NBA players Carlos Arroyo and Carmelo Anthony with events in Puerto Rico as well as tennis stars Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras and David Ferrer among others.

MB Sports is proud to have made these and other sports events possible, bringing quality professional athletic competition to the people of Puerto Rico and the world. We are dedicated to continue to stage sports and specialevents for the wholesome entertainment of families throughout our island and beyond.

History repeated itself during 2009 World Baseball Classic were it was a success at Hiram Bithorn Stadium. In 2010, MB Sports brought back baseball with three sold out regular season games between Mets and Marlins. In addition, MBS has brought professional tennis to PR with The Andre Agassi Farewell Tour, a match between Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras. In 2012 the PR Tennis Cup, a two day event between 4 of the Top 20 players in the World. In March 2013 the WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC came back to Hiram Bithorn Stadium and once again is the most successful venue during the Classic.
