LAWYER STAFFING Charles Warren, Associate Charles’ practice focuses on corporate, commercial, real estate, and estate planning.   Charles  joined  the  firm  in 2006  as  a  law  student,  subsequently  articled with  the firm  in  2007  and  became  an  Associate  lawyer  upon being  called  to  the  Bar  in  2008.    Charles  is  currently enrolled  in  the Chartered Professional Accountants’  In‐Depth Tax Course. Charles  has  appeared  as  advocate  in  various  levels  of the  Nova  Scotia  courts.  He  primarily  enjoys  assisting clients  in  a wide  range  of  corporate,  commercial,  and real estate matters.  Marc Comeau, Associate Marc’s practice focuses on corporate, commercial, real estate, and estate planning, Wills and Trusts.  Marc was called to the bar in 2009 and joined the firm in 2013 after practicing in Kentville for four years. Marc has also advocated for clients at all levels of court in Nova Scotia, including the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.   Jonathan Cuming, Associate Jon's practice is focused on civil litigation, personal injury litigation, construction law, land boundary disputes, employment and labour including wrongful dismissal, employment contracts, employer policies, employee discipline, municipal law, and criminal law. Jon was called to the Bar in 2005 and joined the firm in 2013 after spending nine years in the Annapolis Valley developing his general litigation practice. Jon has significant litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful dismissal and construction law. Jon has appeared in all levels of court in Nova Scotia and serves as an Adjudicator in the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia.  

PARALEGAL STAFFING Judy McKnight, Senior Corporate Paralegal Judy  joined  the  firm  in 1980.   With 34 years experience she  brings  many  skills  to  the  team  as  the  Senior Corporate Paralegal. 

 Terra Aston, Corporate Paralegal Terra  joined  the  firm  in  2014  bringing  with  her  corporate paralegal and other law firm experience of nine years.

corporate, commercial, tax, real estate, wills and estate law, and

succession planning. Jeff has successfully completed the

Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' two year In-Depth I and

In-Depth II tax courses, and has attended several of that Institute's

Advanced Tax courses. In 2013, Jeff was granted the

designation of Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) by the

International Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a result of his years of training and experience in

that area of law.
