This Sauder unit is designed for use with televisions weighing not more than 95 pounds. Use of a TV that istoo large or too heavy is hazardous. Severe injury or death can occur because the TV and furniturecombination will be unstable, and may tip over.

S Check the size and weight of your TV. Compare it to the size diagram below -- before you begin assembly.

S Make sure that the base of the TV can set completely on the TV shelf. The TV base should never extendpast the edge of the TV shelf. (The picture tube cone may extend past the shelf.)

- Push eight HIDDEN CAMS (V) into the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHTS (C and D). Then, insert a CAM DOWEL (W)into each HIDDEN CAM.

ETAPE 4Fixer la MOULURE D’ARRÊT (G) au DESSUS (E).Serrer quatre EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.

ETAPE 3Enfoncer quatre EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (V)dans le DESSUS (E).

Faire tourner quatre VIS D’EXCENTRIQUE (X) dansla MOULURE DE ARRÊT (G).

ETAPE 1L’usage d’une VIS trop longue peut endommagerl’élément. Avant de commencer l’assemblage,séparer chaque type de VIS. Attentivement réviserles schémas des VIS (VIS ILLUSTRÉESGRANDEUR NATURE). Faire attention à la couleurde chaque VIS. Il est possible que unes piècessupplémentaires sont incluses avec l’élément.

ETAPE 2Assembler l’élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur lecarton vide pour éviter d’endommager l’élément ou lesol.

Enfoncer huit EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (V)dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et les MONTANTS (Cet D). Ensuite, insérer une CHEVILLED’EXCENTRIQUE (W) dans chaque EXCENTRIQUEESCAMOTABLE.

ETAPE 5Insérer huit GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (GG) dans lestrous exacts indiqués dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B)et les MONTANTS (C et D).

Enfoncer les LOQUETEAUX MAGNÉTIQUES (AA)dans les trous situées sur les MONTANTS (C et D).

ETAPE 6Fixer l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) au DESSUS (E).Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.Utiliser un TOURNEVIS À POINTE DROITE.

ETAPE 7Enfoncer le PETIT ARRIÈRE (I) sur les GOUPILLESEN MÉTAL situées sur l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B).

Fixer le MONTANT GAUCHE (D) au DESSUS (E) et àle PETIT ARRIÈRE (I). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUESESCAMOTABLES. Utiliser un TOURNEVIS ÀPOINTE DROITE.

REMARQUE : S’assurer de bien insérer lesGOUPILLES EN MÉTAL situées sur le MONTANTGAUCHE dans les trous dans le PETIT ARRIÈRE.

ETAPE 9Fixer le MONTANT DROIT (C) au DESSUS (E) et à lePETIT ARRIÈRE (I). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUESESCAMOTABLES. Utiliser un TOURNEVIS À POINTEDROITE.

REMARQUE : S’assurer de bien insérer lesGOUPILLES EN MÉTAL situées sur le MONTANTDROIT dans les trous dans le PETIT ARRIÈRE.

Fixer le DESSOUS (F) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) etaux MONTANTS (C et D). Utiliser huit VIS NOIRESTÊTE PLATE 48 mm (JJ).

ETAPE 12Fixer les PLINTHES (K et L) au DESSOUS (F).Utiliser sept VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE 14 mm (LL).

Fixer les PLINTHES LATÉRALES (L) à la PLINTHEAVANT (K). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE14 mm (LL).

ETAPE 10Fixer deux CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE (Z) à laMOULURE D’ARRÊT (G). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRESTÊTE LARGE 14 mm (LL).

Fixer le LAMBREQUIN (J) à la MOULURED’ARRÊT (G). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES TÊTELARGE 14 mm (LL).

REMARQUE : Le LAMBREQUIN ne comporte pasde trous pré--percés. Serrer les VIS dans les rainures.

ETAPE 11Fixer neuf CONSOLES EN MÉTAL (Y) auDESSOUS (F) et aux deux PLINTHESLATÉRALES (L). Utiliser neuf VIS NOIRES TÊTELARGE 14 mm (LL).

REMARQUE : Faire très attention à l’emplacementdes CONSOLES EN MÉTAL sur les PLINTHESLATÉRALES. S’assurer que les CONSOLES sont àfleur des chants des PLINTHES LATÉRALES.

ETAPE 13Enfoncer six PATINS (BB) dans les PLINTHES (Ket L).

Insérer les PIEDS (U) dans les gros trous sur leDESSOUS (F).

ETAPE 15Fixer une CHARNIÈRE À PIVOT (DD) à chaquePORTE (M). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE14 mm (LL).

Fixer une PLAQUE DE BUTÉE (CC) à chaquePORTE (M). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRE TÊTE PLATE13 mm (MM).

ETAPE 14Avec précaution, retourner l’élément sur ses chantsavant. Placer l’ARRIÈRE (H) sur l’élément de façon àce que la surface non finie soit dirigée vers le haut.

Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des quatrechants de l’ARRIÈRE (H). Si besoin est, enfoncer surles coins opposés de l’élément pour s’assurer d’être «d’équerre ».

Fixer l’ARRIÈRE (H) à l’élément à l’aide desCLOUS (NN).

REMARQUE : Des lignes perforées ont été prévuespour accéder facilement à l’ARRIÈRE. Découper avecprécaution les trous nécessaires.

ETAPE 17Apposer l’ÉTIQUETTE DE MISE EN GARDE (II) auDESSUS (E). Cette étiquette doit pouvoir être lisiblelorsque le téléviseur est enlevé de l’élément. Lorsquele téléviseur est en place, il doit la dissimuler. Décollerle film protecteur et apposer l’étiquette commel’indique le schéma.

REMARQUE : Cette étiquette permanente estprévue pour durer pendant toute la vie du produit. Unefois apposée ne pas essayer de la retirer.

Enfoncer seize MANCHONS ENCAOUTCHOUC (HH) sur les GOUPILLES ENMÉTAL (GG). Insérer les GOUPILLES EN MÉTALdans les trous choisis dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B)et les MONTANTS (C et D). Poser les TABLETTESRÉGLABLES (O et T) sur les GOUPILLESEN MÉTAL.

REMARQUE : Prière de lire attentivement lesimportantes informations concernant la sécurité quifigurent sur la couverture arrière du manueld’instructions.

Ceci complète l’assemblage. Pour nettoyer, utiliserl’encaustique pour meubles préférée ou un chiffonhumide. Essuyer.

ETAPE 16Relever, avec précaution, l’élément dans sa positionverticale.

Insérer une CHARNIÈRE À PIVOT (DD) libre à traversune RONDELLE (EE) et dans le DESSOUS (F).

Insérer la CHARNIÈRE À PIVOT, fixée à laPORTE (M), dans le trou dans la MOULURE DEBUTÉE (G). Il faudra légèrement incliner la PORTE.

Maintenant, incliner la PORTE et fixer la charnièrelibre à la PORTE. Utiliser une VIS NOIRE TÊTELARGE 14 mm (KK).

Fixer une POIGNÉE (FF) et FERRURE (GG) à laPORTE (M). Utiliser une VIS DORÉE À MÉTAUX25 mm (MM).

REMARQUE : Pour ajuster la PORTE, desserrer laVIS dans la CHARNIÈRE À PIVOT, ajuster et serrerla VIS.

Répéter cette étape pour l’autre PORTE.

- Carefully stand your unit upright.

- Insert a free PIVOT HINGE (DD) through a WASHER (EE) and into the BOTTOM (F).

- Insert the PIVOT HINGE, which is fastened to the DOOR (M), into the hole in the STOP MOLDING (G). You will need totilt your DOOR slightly.

- Now, tip the DOOR in and fasten the free hinge to the DOOR. Use a BLACK 9/16” LARGE HEAD SCREW (MM).

- Fasten a PULL (FF) and BACKPLATE (GG) to the DOOR (M). Use a GOLD 1” MACHINE SCREW (LL).

NOTE: To make adjustments to the DOOR, loosen the SCREW in the PIVOT HINGE, make needed adjustments, and tightenthe SCREW.

- Repeat this step for the other DOOR.

- Apply the WARNING LABEL (JJ) to the TOP (E). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from theunit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.
