Newstead Wood School for Girls Summer School 2009July 2009, two weeksI was employed as a mentor to support students by assisting in workshops, trips and classes. I arranged the final presentation display and acted as liaison between students and staff.

(2007-11) Attended monthly forums to improve London’s public spaces and negotiated with local councillors and architects. Designed the logo and in 2009 I helped run a family event at City Hall, London as part of Open City Weekend.
Project Management of Go4SET Engineering Project – I motivated the team of 6 students, managed meetings and developed skills in timekeeping, recording and design. The project won Pupil’s Choice prize and went on to regional and national fairs.
From 2010 to 2011 I ran a school culture club, putting on events for students and organising regular meetings. Doing this alongside four A levels taught me much about time management and helped me develop my abilities as a leader.
I currently lead a university Bible study group within a small team, utilising planning and organisation skills as well as developing teaching abilities. As part of this I attend training meetings and work alongside people in similar positions to develop the study group’s potential.
