core update - issue 1
TRANSCRIPT
Welcome to our first newsletter on the CORE project
(the new customer relationship management (CRM)
and NAV financial systems). It will be issued every
two weeks to keep you informed about the project.
As you know, we launched the NAV financial system
on April 5. I’d like to congratulate everyone who
worked so hard to achieve this important milestone
in the CORE project.
In the coming months, we’ll host some fun events,
such as an Open House. You’ll be able to learn more
about the new CRM system, try out some of its
great features, and provide your feedback. Look for
other communications tools, such as an on-line
project timeline.
I’d like to stress that everyone plays a key role in
the success of this project. Whether you are on a
CORE team or not, your feedback is important.
If you have any questions, or want any more
information, feel free to talk to your manager or
any members of the CORE team listed on page two.

Welcome!
I N S I D E :
Update on CORE project
The design of the CRM system is
complete and construction is underway.
The first parts of the system, which
pertain to Education, should be
delivered at the end of April and will
then be tested.
Staff are also busy copying and
correcting member data in our existing
CRM system (MMSI), a task that will
continue until the end of the year.
Welcome!

UPDATE
Due to the complexity of the
project, and the number of
partners involved, we now expect
the new CRM system will be
introduced to staff in early to mid
2014 and to members later in 2014.
We’ll continually provide you with
the latest information as it
becomes available.

We implemented the new NAV Financial System
on April 5. Not only did the Go Live team launch
the system on time, they did so without a single
glitch – a major achievement in the world of IT.
Accounting staff are already benefiting from
many of the system’s new features and will be
learning more about how it can help them
improve their services to staff and members.

“I love NAV because it ’s
easy to use, saves time
(all the information is on
the screen), and there is
less room for errors. Plus
you can do recurring bills
which saves me time from
having to manually enter
them each month.”
Trish Kinnear
“ I love the colour and the
dril l -down menu is
amazing ! It’s much easier
to navigate to find
information l ike invoice
