Experiences

Entrepreneurs were reluctant to avail small loansand maintain a critical mass of products

Lessons Learnt

Start up capital proved to be instrumental inenhanced business & exposure exposure to credit institutes, increased confidence level

State of art tools led to enhanced income and improved quality products

Access to Micro Credit an opportunity for poorest of the poor

Establishment of sales outlets and promotion offemale sales persons resulted in wide replication

Training in EE and HI manufacturing is acceptedby local communities
