peninsula• There is a big river that crosses the city. It is
Guadalquivir.• Also, In Córdoba, It finds the mountains of Sierra
Morena• The weather is Meditarraneo• Córdoba posesses 323.600 inhabitans
Places to visit-Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. It is a medieval Alcázar. The fortress served as one of their primary residences.
-Córdoba Synagogue was built in 1315 by architects led by Isaac Moheb.
- Medina Azahara was a Muslim medieval town located about 5 kilometers from Córdoba. Its ruins were discovered about ninety years ago
- Mousoleo romano, located in the Jardines de la Victoria, is a monument funeral.
- Calleja de las Flores. Street is one of the most popular tourists in Cordoba
- Plaza del potro is one of the most representative of the Spanish city of Cordoba.
• Mezquita of Córdoba is a roman catholic cathedral. The building was begun in approximately 600 AD. It is the most important monument in Cordoba. It was built from VIII century during the Caliphate of Cordoba
CELEBRATION Tourism is especially intense in Córdoba
during May because of the weather and as this month hosts three very popular festivals
- The May Crosses Festival takes place at the beginning of the month.
- The most important of the three is the Patios Festival celebrated during May. Many houses of the historic center open their private patios to the public and compete in a contest.
Food• Salmorejo is a cream consisting
of tomato and bread, originating in Córdoba. It is made from tomatoes, bread, oil, garlic and vinegar.
• El Pastel cordobés is a sweet that is made to the festivities of San Rafael

as Fosforito is a flamenco singer and winner of the gold key of flamenco singing.

Gran Capitan was a spanish general in the service of the reign, when it was rising to military pre-eminence. Gonzalo was born at Montilla near the city of Córdoba.

I love Córdoba because it is a wonderful place. The people greet you phenomenally. In spring, is considered the most splendid city for its May festivities and ornaments.
If you come to Cordoba in May, you'll love it.
