She has dedicated her entire adult life for the study, research and seva of his teachings. In 1995, she received a Ph.D. from Mumbai University for the selective studies on Shree Samarth Ramdas Swami as well as his main disciple- Shree Dinkar Swami. Dr. Rasika has given lectures throughout India as well as many countries in the world to spread the teachings and literature of Samarth Ramdas Swami. It is our great fortune to have her in DFW area for the lecture series on Dasbodh. 1608 AD -1681 AD Samarth Ramdas Swami is one of the most popular and beloved saint of Maharashtra. During his life time, he wrote volumes of literature which is still highly respected and studied. Few of his work includes- Dasbodh, Manache Shlok, Atmaram, Manapanchak, Anandavanbhuvan, Shivkalyana Raja, along with countless poetry, Abhang and Arati. Ramdas Swami, not only was a a spiritual leader, but he also was a great poet, writer, teacher, athlete and a social worker of that era. He was the guru and a spiritual leader of Raje Shivaji Maharaj- the greatest warrior of Maharashtra of all time.
