Overview
The European Union provides financial support to promote economic development and social inclusion through a series of inter-related funds known as Structural Funds.
Structural Funds aim to promote the development and structural adjustment of regions that has fallen behind other parts of the European Community.
Besides the structural funds, EU provides financial support for rural areas development though the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
