Interleaf to XML Automated Conversion Process
Execute macros to open binary Interleaf files.
Call Adobe Acrobat Distiller and perform preliminary data conversion to PDF files to retain original formatting.
Output data in Interleaf ASCII Format (IAF)
Transfer Interleaf content to Arbortext Epic 4.1.
Configure and map DTD elements into Interleaf formatted style.
Configure setting file to map entities to symbols.

XML Automatic Processing Methodology
The XML Processing Engine of our Control Program maps entities & elements to symbols and automatically performs conversion to XML.
Call Adobe Acrobat and execute equation cropping and export for image transfer to EPS and GIF files from PDF files.
If stylesheet has not been provided ensure browsing by creating a stylesheet based upon the DTD.
Call EPIC and XMLSpy to edit formatting of the referred PDF file and perform validation as per the DTD.
Analyze, create and run customized QA scripts to catch any errors which were not caught by parser.
Perform sample checking to ensure accuracy requirements met.

1. Digital Typesetting Services: TeX/LaTeX are used for books and journals having complex mathematical equations, QuarkXpress and PageMaker for plain text, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Corel Draw for redrawing and relabeling artworks. And specific software for each client's needs.
2. Abstracting & Indexing: Data and information from scientific journals are extracted and posted into specific fields. Scientific articles are abstracted and indexed, in a wide variety of topics - electronics, electrical, psychology, medicine, chemistry, physics etc.
3. Archival Services: All kinds of textual data capturing from printed matter, manuscripts, scanned images, etc. with high accuracy levels.
4. Custom Document Coding: Coding in any client-specified format is provided for scanned images received through FTP / CD. In-house software development capability is available for capturing data.
