What is Healing Touch?

Healing Touch is an energy therapy in which practitioners consciously use their hands in

a heart-centered and intentional way to support and facilitate

physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.

Equipment that measures biofield (energy field) activity: Superconducting Quantum

Interference Device (SQUID) Measures biofields produced by our physiological processes and it is used to measure the geomagnetic field of the earth. It detects energy fields and records their size and direction.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF)

Therapy mimics natural electrical activities of the body and is used to “jump start” bone and soft tissue repair in the body.



How Does Energy Healing Work

Energy therapies focus on removing energy congestion that forms in our energy field (biofield/aura) and energy centers (chakras).

Once this congestion is cleared, the body is better able to restore balance, maintain health, and promote wellness.

History of the Healing Touch Program

Founder of Healing Touch: Janet Mentgen RN, BSN, CHTP/I, HNC, (1938 – 2005)

1990 Healing Touch, developed by Janet, became a certificate program with 25 workshops offered across the United States that year.

2006 The Healing Touch Program, Leaders in Energy Medicine, became the official name for this training program.

It is estimated that over 100,000 students in 32 countries have studied Healing Touch.
