Reporting Environment The Excel client provides dual interfaces to SAS FM
data:• OLAP table similar to Excel’s pivot table
• Excel function-based interface.
Data Entry forms, as well as reports, can be stored and retrieved from the SAS Portal or on your local machine.

Cell Data Access Reports (CDA)
CDA reports extend Microsoft Excel’s functionality to enable users to access SAS FM data on a cell by cell basis.
Multiple ways:• Wizard-driven interface – similar to OLAP report wizard
• Ability to copy from OLAP table
• A Member browser to facilitate picking members
• A set of functions a user can type in to the cells to retrieve data from SAS FM Result Models.

CDA Formulas Use the formulas to get:
• a value with CDAGet
• a description with CDADesc
• a member property with CDAProperty
• an exchange rate with CDAXRate
• a price rate with CDARate

− make adjustments to cell values
• Support for SAS FM security
• Full formatting support.
