Your personal impact statement – this is the most important

aspect of your application. It’s your chance to tell us your

commitment towards the health and wellbeing of Te Awa Tupua

and how your tertiary qualification will allow you to do this. You

can provide your personal impact statement in writing (either in

the application form itself or in a letter) with no more than 300

words

A summary of your research topic (for postgraduate masters or

doctorate students only)

Your personal impact statement demonstrates that you are

committed to the health and wellbeing of Te Awa Tupua

Your qualification aligns to the priority areas of this scholarship

(where scholarships are undersubscribed consideration may be

given to applications outside of these priority areas)

Your application form is complete and relevant documentation

has been provided

Payment will be made directly to the Tertiary Provider,

Studylink/IRD or hall of residence. Undergraduate scholarships

are worth up to $3,000 and postgraduate scholarships are worth

up to $10,000 (part time students will be paid by pro rata or per

paper)

You must attend the Annual General Meeting of Ngā Tāngata

Tiaki o Whanganui Trust

You must be available to participate in the Tira Hoe Waka,

Raukotahi Rangatahi Summit, Rangatakapū Summit or any

other relevant iwi wānanga

You consent to your profile and image being used in the

promotion of Te Mana o Te Awa and the Tertiary Scholarship

Provide a final report upon completion of the year you received

your scholarship
