You can now login to Copac (institutional login or create your own). If you login Copac:

• saves all of your searches, • allows you to create online bibiliographies • shows you the latest journals table of

contents.

Search history is a record of your research.

• You can add tags and notes to your search history

• You can also re-run and edit searches.

My References is a bibliography of records, which you have marked in your search results.

• You can export records from here.

If you register your library catalogue’s z39.50 details with IESR we can try and include an option to search your own catalogue at the same time as Copac.

‘Work’ level deduplication

The current deduplication that focuses on merging records for the same document held in different institutions.

• This will continue, but in addition we are exploring work level deduplication • Work level deduplication would (try to) bring together all the records relating to a specific work. • The biggest impact would be for the relatively small number of works that exist in many forms.
