Coordinator of Money Counters
There is a team of money counters who are coordinated by the Coordinator of Money Counters. Tlie lnoney coiinters are scheduled on the master schedule put out by tlie office. Tlie money counters are responsible for counting and depositing tlie weekly offering and ally otlier deposits that need to be made.
Each week two volunteers do lnoney count - Monday mornings most weeks and Tuesday mornings following a long weekend. One volunteer is desipated as a money counter - their sole responsibility is to count tlie offering. The other volunteer is desigiated as tlie depositor - after coirnting tlie offering with the money counter they are responsible for making lip tlie deposit and taking it to the bank.
Tlie time co~n~iiitment involved is as follows: Money coirnters - 1 '/2 lirs Depositors - 2 hrs
With the current niinber of volirnteers you will likely be scliediiled 110 more than once in every 5 weeks.
RESPONSIBltlTIES OF THE COORDINATOR
To maintain a current roster of volunteers to count money contact volunteers annually to detennine their desire to
continue find new volunteers as necessary (fiom the volunteer bank
or tlirougli ads in tlie newsletters or weekly bulletins)
Train new voliinteers as necessary. Maintain the money count supply box
photocopy tally and deposit sulnlnary sheets as necessary replenish supplies as necessary (submit bills to tlie Parish
Secretary for reimbursement) Make tlie necessary arrangements for lnoney count during the summer
