Cooking and living are parallel concepts; not just because mankind needs to eat to survive, but also because since time immemorial, the space set aside for cooking in has been the focal point of the home, and has been a place for conversations, meetings, celebrations...We are all different and live in different ways. We are different in our tastes, ways of life, our personalities, our family, jobs, our friends... That is why, each individual, couple or family needs their own space and their own kitchen. The fact is that each project that we create is different. That is why this catalogue includes specific proposals for people with perspectives of their own and different needs. This is the reason why, instead of showing you collections to choose from, we are showing you a great many technical and design solutions to inspire you to create your own space and your own kitchen. Now all you have to do is dream...

The materials chosen for the kitchen played a decisive role in highlighting the industrial setting of the loft. So they decided on an aluminium kitchen finished in titanium and flush handles finished in matt nickel which are perfectly integrated into the unit as they do not stick out. The storage space has also been separated from the large central kitchen island by installing a section of semi-columns on pedestal supports. The highly-resistant drawers with plenty of space, the steel worktop and accessories like the hose tap, the fridge or the freezer reinforce the industrial style of the unit.

The original way that the drawers are arranged in this kitchen makes it possible for everything to be tidy and nicely organised. This means that on the inner side of the kitchen island, the lower modules include two drawers with different pulls: one at the top with a finger pull and another lower one with a billet pull. In this case they opted for a drawer with a matching cutlery tray that makes it possible to arrange the space depending on storage needs. The stainless-steel cutlery tray in the picture is available in various sizes.

This is a kitchen that has fitted in easily with the rest of the house due to the lack of handles and the colour that has been chosen for it. As a result, the distressed white column area suspended in the air goes perfectly with the cooking area on a steel top and with the working area, which is a low walnut wood unit that can be used for cooking, eating, reading or working on.

This is an ideal solution for a kitchen for small spaces like this, designed so that it can be adapted to different sizes. As it is also fitted into a cupboard, it can be embedded in the wall, and is completely concealed from view. Despite its small size this is a kitchen that is perfectly fitted out with everything you need as far as storage and electrical appliances are concerned. The layered red and orange gloss finish and the glass worktop make it easy to clean and give a distinctive cheerful touch to the kitchen.

The picture shows electric doors and drawers that combine walnut cutlery trays with a perforated base in the same finish and stainless-steel separators. This arrangement makes it possible to optimise the amount of space in the drawers and cupboards and makes it easy to work in the kitchen. Both the cutlery tray and the base are also available in stainless steel and beech.

They have made the most of the space in the floor cupboards to place waste bins with different sizes and capacities. Various accessories, such as trays and boxes, have also been included, so that cleaning products can be arranged neatly and tidily. These provide a variety of solutions that round off the perfect way that the insides of the drawers are fitted out.

Comfort in the kitchen is essential and to achieve this, there is nothing better than having it close at hand. The picture shows a detail of the stainless-steel cutlery trays, which have a variety of possible finishes and compositions. There is also a wide range of options for arranging the space inside the drawers, so that the work tools can be organised in a functional and convenient way.

What is special about all this is not just the materials that have been chosen, but the way that space has been organised to create an elegant atmosphere with a minimalist aesthetic. This has meant that this kitchen is characterised by a system of metal fittings that makes it possible to conceal the cupboard doors when these open, so that they do not get in the way when using household appliances. This feature, along with the unusual characteristic that there are no handles as they have been replaced in this case by a cyma, helps to create a space that is bright and clean.

Page 92: Cook&living

The columns keep the household applian-ces from view with swing openings that can also be concealed. The latter allow for a perfect use of the appliances and optimise the space magnificently, as the door fits into the side so that you can only see the inside when you want to. The insides of the cupboards are also designed with modules that integrate the household appliances discretely so that they match the rest of the unit.

The choice of colour is a very important factor when it comes to personalising a kitchen. To achieve this, Logos has a broad range of colours and materials to choose from. In this specific case they have gone in for a combination of three colours: gloss lacquer Antwerp grey in the floor units, pearl grey for the columns and the wall furniture, and yellow for the top, the bay and the bar, which gives a touch of colour, freshness and originality to the kitchen.

Page 104: Cook&living

The search for solutions that would make the most of the space was an essential requisite in this case. That is why they installed a corner cupboard, which is one of the modules that provide most storage space in this kitchen. It provides a storage solution with trays that can be pulled out separately, in order to optimise the back of the cupboard and make it easier to arrange things in the cupboard and gain access to the places that are hardest to reach.

The perforated stainless-steel base and adjustable pivots make it possible to organise and store pots, pans, cooking accessories and dishes perfectly. Both the pivots and the base are also available in beech and walnut.

To reinforce the feeling of purity and spaciousness in this room, a white silk lacquer was chosen for the kitchen fittings, arranged in three work areas. The picture shows the cooking area that is quite separate from the work area, which combines electric hotplates and gas rings, with a storage area below in order to keep everything close at hand.

The cupboards consist of doors with a clip opening system and contain pull-out baskets that provide easy access to all the items kept there. This is an elegant, neat, discrete solution which also offers the possibility of having interior lighting.

A kitchen like this one must exude elegance and discretion. As a result these items have been chosen with great care to ensure that the space is free and uncluttered when it is not being used. In the column area the cupboards conceal an extraordinary amount of storage space, with a broad range of solutions depending on requirements and the amount of space. In this case, they have opted for cupboards with detachable and swing doors in which fixed and detachable trays are combined: innovative ideas and solutions that ensure that it is comfortable, functional and ideal to use.

Above all, we’d like to give a complicit nod to all those people who have chosen this and for everyone who, to a greater or lesser extent, has made this catalogue possible.
