Quick Start Guide for AT&T LSO Website There are currently four training courses available to us on the AT&T LSO website -
AT&T Ask Yourself, AT&T Supplier Awareness, Quality Installations NPE, and EJF (Electronic Job Folder).
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
AT&T Ask Yourself - (Course #51247894)
• ANNUAL requirement for anyone working on the AT&T account. • Deadline for 2012 – Before June 1, 2012.
• Deadline for 2013 – before your previous year Anniversary Date.
AT&T Supplier Awareness – Network Space (Course #60007518)
• ANNUAL requirement for anyone working on the AT&T account. • Deadline – Annually before your previous year Anniversary Date.
Quality Installations NPE – TP76300 (Course #60065363)
• ONE TIME Completion for anyone working on the AT&T account except 4A
Testers, Engineers and Managers (and Project Managers) not involved in installation work. Completion could be required again in the future by AT&T
for various reasons. • 2012 Deadline – before December 31, 2012.
or
• Deadline – Once, for those who require it, before addition to the AT&T Skill Level List.
EJF (Electronic Job Folder) – (Course #60124838)
• ONE TIME Completion for anyone working on the AT&T account who uses
EJF except Skill Level 1 and Skill Level 2 employees, 4A Testers, and Engineers and Managers who don’t need access to EJF in order to do their
job. • Deadline – Once for anyone using the Electronic Job Folder
NOTE: If an individual does not complete a course by the deadline date, they will not be permitted to work on AT&T orders and will not be permitted access
to AT&T facilities until completion of the course has been confirmed. New employees must complete courses required for their position before they will be allowed to work on AT&T orders or have access to AT&T facilities.
GETTING STARTED
If you have an active UserID/Username and Password, but do not remember your UserID, click on the link below or type the address in the URL bar of your Internet
Browser:

DO NOT APPLY FOR A NEW USERID IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE.

From this “Welcome” screen you can:
1. Click on “Forgot Password?” to have your password reset. Complete the information requested,
click Submit, and you will receive an email in minutes with a new password.
2. Click on “Forgot User ID?” to
retrieve your User ID (XA number).
Complete the information requested, click Submit, and a new screen will show with your “XA number”.
3. Click on “View / Update User Profile” to change your company name or update
your email address. Complete the information requested and click Submit. A screen with your profile will appear where you can update your company name to “ADC” and change your email address to your current email address if needed.
After following these steps, if you are still having an access problem, contact your contract company representative.
If you have current completions of any of the AT&T LSO courses while working for another company, those completions will transfer to BlueStream. See Step
3 above for how to change your company name.
SECURITY ISSUES
You must register using your own valid email address. If a contract company
representative is designated to register a group of employees, a valid email address for each student must be submitted with the application so that the system generated confirmation email is sent to the individual student. If the student does not have an email address,
one must be obtained for them.
NOTE: Keep track of your UserID/Username and Password because you will
need it again. Some courses must be repeated annually. You are responsible for your own log in and password information. BlueStream is not allowed to
keep a record of your Password. Once you have a UserID, you will not be issued another one.

If you are having trouble logging into the LSO web site or are having trouble while completing training, contact your contract company representative or the LSO Helpdesk for assistance.

NEW USER REGISTRATION AT THE AT&T LSO WEBSITE – if you don’t have an
Active UserID
In the URL Address Bar of your Internet browser type: https://www.e-
access.att.com/lsobp/NonAlliance/BPAccess/ and press ‘Enter’, which will take you
to the AT&T LSO Website. From the Welcome screen:
1. Click on New User Registration.
2. From the drop down box, select ADC.
3. Click
4. Complete the “New User Registration
Form” and be sure to remember your password.
NOTE: You must use exactly the same first name and last name as it will appear on the Skill Level List.
5. Click at the bottom of the page.
6. You will see the following message on the next screen:
Your Name, Your registration request has been Submitted. You will receive an e-mail notification once your request has been approved. Please Note: Access to Learning Solutions may take 24 hours. Please use your user name and password to enroll in training.
You may close the Browser now.
GENERAL NOTES:
• If there aren’t any problems with the application, it will be approved as soon as
possible, usually within 24 hours. How long it will take depends on how many other applications are waiting to be approved.
• Once the application for access to the LSO website has been
approved, a system generated confirmation email will be sent to the
email address you provided when you applied for registration.
• The confirmation email will include: the system generated UserID/Username for you the Password you provided when registering
the LSO training site URL a reminder to wait 24 hours before accessing the training site.
NOTE: If you attempt to access the training site sooner, you will be
redirected to a web page that will not explain the problem,
resulting in frustration and wasted time.

• Twenty-four hours after you have received your system generated
confirmation email, you may log in to the LSO training website, “Book” a course, and complete a course using the SPECIFIC
INSTRUCTIONS provided in this document.
• Once you have successfully completed a course, you must provide
confirmation to your contract company representative. See last page of this guide for verification process.)
• Once your completion has been confirmed for the training courses
required for your position and you have met all other requirements
for working on AT&T jobs in AT&T facilities, you may be added to the Skill Level List, allowing you access to AT&T facilities.
NOTE: Be sure to keep your UserID (Username) and Password because you
will need them each time you take training at the LSO website.
HELPFUL HINTS
1. For best results, access the training site using Internet Explorer 6.
2. Make sure pop-up blockers are turned off. (If they aren’t, you may have trouble during the course.)

“BOOKING” A COURSE
1. In the “Course Number” field, enter the eight digit course number for the
course you want to take.
Ask Yourself – #51247894 – Be sure to
search on the Course Number not on the name so that you book the correct Ask Yourself course.

click on the “Course Name” link in the “Course” column in the
middle of the page.
4. Go to the bottom of the page and click the "Book this course" button or see “To Take the Course” below.

Taking “Ask Yourself”
Completion time is approximately 2 hours. You must have access to a printer when taking this course.
NOTE: Course number is #51247894
1. Book the course as described on page 5
of this guide, go to the bottom of the page and click
2. After clicking the “Start Course” button
the second web page shown to the right will open. Do NOT close either of them
until you have finished the “Knowledge Check”.

display. Read it and verify that your computer meets the requirements. Then

6. A “Welcome to the Ask Yourself
course” page appears with a short video. Listen and then click

course” page outlines the goals of the

8. A “Menu” screen will open showing the course topics. Proceed through each of the topics and follow any on screen
instructions.

page.
10. When you have completed both lessons and the “Course Summary”, click on the
“Knowledge Check” Menu item.

11. In the next window click on the button. If the Browser window does
not open correctly just close it and return to the “Knowledge Check” page. You might want to skip
this step as it seems to lock up the whole course sometimes.
12. There are 16 questions in the “Knowledge Check”.
13. When you have completed the “Knowledge Check” successfully, you will see the “Quiz Results” screen to the
right.
A passing score is 80% or above. If
you fail the course, you will need to take the course again but you need to
wait 24 hours.
14. From this page you have three options for printing or saving a copy of your
certificate as shown above. Click on the “Print Certificate” button to print a copy of your “Certificate of
Completion”.
15. When the “Print” screen appears, select
your printer and click on the “Print”
button at the bottom of the “Print” screen.

16. Your “Certificate of Completion” will
then be displayed.
NOTE: In addition to being listed on
the AT&T Skill Level List, AT&T is now requiring that you carry a printed copy of your
Certificate of Completion with you when you are working in
AT&T facilities.
NOTE: A wallet size card option is now
available. Follow the procedure above to print a copy of that.
17. Before leaving this screen you need to also do a screen shot of your
“Certificate of Completion". (See the last page of this guide for directions
on capturing screen shots.)
18. When you have:
a. Completed the “Knowledge Check”,
b. Printed your “Certificate of Completion” and
c. Captured and saved a screen shot of your “Certificate of Completion”,
Click the “ ” button in the upper
right-hand corner of the “Quiz Results” page so you will be able to get back to your certificate if you ever need to do so.

19. This will take you to the “Manage My Learning” page where you will be able to
capture the additional two required screen shots.
Examples are shown below.
Email both of the above screen shots plus the Certificate of Completion screen
shot to your contract company representative following the verification process on the last page of this quick start guide.
NOTE: If for some reason, you did not print or capture a screen shot of your “Certificate of Completion” you can access it later. The date on the
certificate will reflect the date you access it rather than your actual completion date.
1. Go to the “Manage My Learning” page and under “My Learner Account” click on “Training Activities”.
2. Under “Completed or Expired Courses” click the name of the course.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of that page
and under “Start Course / Book” click on “Review Course”.
4. A popup window will ask you if you would like to return to the last visited
location in the lesson.
5. Click “OK”.
6. Since you have completed the course, this will take you to the “Quiz
Results” page.
7. Go back to Step 13 above and follow
the steps to print and capture a screen shot of your “Certificate of
Completion”.

Taking “Supplier Awareness”
Completion time is approximately 1 hour. You must have access to a printer when taking this course.
NOTE: Course number is #60007518
1. Book the course as described on page 4
of this guide, go to the bottom of the page and click
2. After clicking the “Start Course” button
the second web page shown to the right will open. Do NOT close either of them
until you have finished the “Knowledge Check”.
3. Click
4. A “Menu” screen will open showing the course topics. Proceed through each of
the topics and follow any on screen instructions.
5. Use the button to advance each page.
6. When you have completed all of the lessons and the “Course Review”,
click on the “Knowledge Check” Menu item.
7. In the next window click on the

8. There are 20 questions in the “Knowledge Check”. You will need to
answer 16 correctly to reach a passing score.

9. When you have completed the “Knowledge Check” successfully, you

Taking Quality Installations NPE (Course #60065363) TP-76300 training is available on the AT&T LSO website. The official course name is
“Quality Installations NPE” (Course #60065363).
The course is quite lengthy so plan on anywhere from 4 hours up to a total of 24 hours to complete it. You will be able to exit and then re-enter the course later.
This course does not have a Final Assessment. Throughout the course there are
“Reviews” the student must complete. There isn’t a final score associated with the completion of this course.
You must have access to a printer when taking this course.
1. Book the course as described on page 4
of this guide, go to the bottom of the page and click
2. A second web page will open. Do NOT close either of them until instructed to do so.
NOTE: You might need to maximize this
screen to view the entire page without scrolling.

5. The “Minimum Requirements” page will
display. Read it and verify that your computer meets the requirements. Then

6. There are seven (7) lessons. To take a
lesson, click on the lesson bar for the lesson you want to take.
7. Follow instructions to complete a lesson
and take subsequent lessons.
NOTE: It may be necessary to Exit the course and re-enter the course at least once to complete it. The course was created so the student could do this. Follow these
instructions to Exit the course and return later:
8. Click the “Exit Course” button in the top right hand corner of the screen.
9. Navigate away from the LSO website or close your browser window.
10. When you are ready to continue with the course, log back into the LSO, and go to
the “Manage My Training” page.
11. In the right half of the
screen, locate the “Quality
Installations NPE” link.
12. Click “Start Now” located on the far right
of the screen.
13. Go to the bottom of the web page.

15. A second web page will open. As before, do NOT close either of them until
instructed to do so.
16. A text box should appear on the screen that reads, “You have previously been in this lesson. Would you like to return to
the last visited location in the lesson?”
17. Click the “OK” button.
NOTE: Maximize your screen if needed.
18. Continue with the course and complete all
the lessons including Lesson 7 which is the Course Summary.
19. On page 3 of Lesson 7 click the “Survey” button to continue.
20. A third web page will open. Enter your LSO UserID (XA #) in the “Enter your External ID, if applicable” box.
21. Complete the “Customer Satisfaction
Survey”, and click the “SUBMIT” button at the bottom of the web page.
22. You will be returned to page 3 of Lesson 7.
23. The web page showing you successfully
completed the course should be displayed. Click on the “Print” button at the bottom
of this screen to print a copy of your “Certificate of Completion”.
21. When the “Print” screen appears, select
your printer and click on the “Print” button at the bottom of the “Print”
screen.

22. Your “Certificate of Completion” will then be displayed.

24. When you have:

Taking EJF – Electronic Job Folder (Course #60124838) EJF (Electronic Job Folder) training is available on the AT&T LSO website. It will take
approximately 2 hours to complete.
1. Make sure the volume control for your
computer’s speakers is on.
2. Book the course as described on page 4 of
this guide, go to the bottom of the page and click
3. A second web page will open – maximize it.
NOTE: You now have two windows open. Do
NOT close either of them until instructed to do so after the “Final Assessment”.
4. Click the “forward arrow” at the bottom of the page to go to the next slide.
5. Reference Material is available. To view
the AOTS User Guide, on Slide 11 of the Overview section, click the paper clip on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
6. When the “Attachment” box appears,
double click AOTS User Guide.
7. In the “Save to My Computer” box, click on “Click to Download” to save a copy to your computer.

8. The EJF course consists of 19 modules and
a “Final Assessment”. (Shown below)
9. At the end of the course outline (Slide
12), click on to begin Module 1.
10. At the end of Module 1, click to
continue to Module 2.
11. Continue through all 19 Modules.
NOTE: There is no bookmarking capability in this course. If you need to exit the course
before completing it, you may want to note the last content page you have
reviewed.
By clicking on “Course Outline” at the
top of any page you can bring up an outline of the course. This will allow you
to click on any of the modules and be taken to the first slide in that module.
12. At the end of Module 19, click
to access the “Final Assessment”.
13. There are 20 questions. A passing score
on the “Final Assessment” is 80 or above. If you fail the course, you will
have to wait 24 hours before you will be able to retake it.

14. To complete the “Customer Satisfaction
Survey”, click at the bottom of the page.
15. When you have completed the survey click
16.To exit the course, click the button in the top right hand corner of the screen. The second web page will close.
17.You should be at the “Manage My Learning” page.
18.To verify you have completed the course, scroll down to the “Learning
Progress” section. It should read as below:

Verification – 3 Screen Shots Required (Except for EJF – only two)
You should be at the “Manage My Learning” page shown at right.
1. This screen will show your name, course
number and course name.
2. Capture the screen to the clipboard, paste the
clipboard into a Word document. See “Here’s how to Capture your screen” below.
3. Switch back to the LSO web page in Internet
Explorer. 4. Scroll down the “Manage My Learning” page
using the internal scroll bar until you get to the “Learning Progress” section.
5. Capture the screen to the clipboard, paste the
clipboard into the second page of the Word document above.
6. Save the Word document to your hard drive or a network drive and send to your contract company representative.
NOTE: If you ever have to go back into the LSO to get a copy, go to the “Manage My Learning”
page. In the middle column, scroll down and under “My Learner Account” click on “Training Activities”. Under “Completed or Expired
Courses” in the right hand column click the name of the course and follow the steps above.
Here’s how to Capture your screen:
1. With the screen you want to capture showing (see screen shots above), print the screen to the clipboard by holding down the “Shift” key and pressing the “Print
Scrn” key on your keyboard. Holding down the “Fn” key and then pressing the “Print Scrn” key seems to work better for some computers.
2. Then go to a new Word document screen and Paste the clipboard into the document. Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and depress the V key.
3. Save the Word document, giving it a file name that includes your name. That might look something like this – “AYjohnsmith.doc” or “SAjohnsmith.doc”.
4. Attach the Word document to an email and send it to your contract company
representative. In the email subject line, please specify the course name for which you are sending the screen print.
NOTE: The verification email you send to your contract company representative will serve as the official notification that you have completed the course.
