Besides designing and building/ redeveloping all of our own disaster recovery facilities, ContinuitySA has been contracted to design, project manage, commission and operate a number of specially designed disaster recovery centres throughout Southern Africa. Specific projects include: · Design and construction of the first specialised work area recovery facility in South Africa. · Design and construction, with Grinaker Construction, of an entire turnkey office park project for Siltek. This 13000m2 facility incorporated 1400m2 of dedicated recovery space for Bankserv and 1400m2 of commercial syndicated work area recovery facility for ContinuitySA and its clients. · Management of Class A commercial IT recovery sites in Durban, Pretoria and Cape Town for various banking sector clients. · Design and implementation of MTN South Africa’s main data centre in Sandton, Johannesburg; · Design and commissioning of a complete mobile disaster recovery unit for a major mining house. · Design and implementation of a leading IT company’s main data centre in Sandton.
