Resurrection is this weekend, January 16th-18th.

    Theme Be Known

Verse Jeremiah 31:33—"But this is the new covenant I will make with

the people of Israel on that day," says the Lord. "I will put my

instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their

hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

    Music The City Harmonic

For two years The City Harmonic has brought their unique music

to Resurrection, and we are thrilled to have them joining us again

this year to celebrate our 30th Resurrection.

    Speaker Reggie Dabbs

At Resurrection 2012, Reggie blew our collective minds with his

electric speaking style and his personal attitude. We are thrilled

that he is joining us again for Resurrection 2015 to help us

celebrate our 30th year with a bang.

A special thanks to all of you who gave scholarships so that

many of our youth could attend this wonderful event . It is a great

opportunity for spiritual growth. Thank you so much for your

continued support of the youth here at Trinity. You are a blessing

to our young people. Keep us in your prayers this weekend.

    Rev. Brenda Dowell

The MEDIC van will be at

    Trinity on Sunday, February

    8, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    Please plan to participate in

    this very important ministry.

Your donation of one pint of

    blood can help save three

lives, plus it helps give our

    congregation blanket coverage

    for one year.

This drive is an opportunity to get us well on our way for

the year. Jean and Bill Fraley will have sign-up sheets

    available in the Gathering Space.

    BLOOD DRIVE (Jerry Manley)

Thank you to everyone who helped us through another

month providing food for those in need. With all the recent

cold weather, lending a helping hand is a gracious way to

    comfort others.

TRINITY UNITED METHODIST CRAFTERS (Jean Fraley)

    Looking ahead in 2015

Put this date on your calendar and help the Crafters

sponsor SPRING SPLASH 2015, May 2. Plans are still in the making, but there are some things you can help with right now. (For those who don’t know what Spring Splash is – a quick definition – a very large garage sale.) All those things you have around the house you no longer want or use should be put in boxes and brought to Trinity. More information later on when and where you can put “stuff” for the sale. Watch for that infor-mation!

For right now you can start by saving hangers and bring to the church – we need all sizes of hangers – pants, children, shirt/dress. For any furniture you will need to make arrangements to bring to the church April 27 - May 2.

Groups or projects will be designated for funding prior to Spring Splash to receive a percentage of funds raised. All of the “stuff” not sold will be donated to KARM.

We need your prayers for this project, and we need your willingness to help where needed. Get the word out to friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc.

The Youth need your help! Due to the size of the youth group

on Wednesday nights, we are going to split the youth into two

groups. We will meet together for announcements and games.

Then, we will break off into two smaller groups for spiritual

formation classes (about 25 minutes). Followed by together time

in the gym. So, if you are interested in being a teacher or an

assistant for one of the smaller groups, please contact Rev. Brenda

Dowell. Thank you for your help and support.

Van Driver needed! Due to the number of children and youth

attending Wednesday night programming, we are in need of

another driver to help pick up the children. There are usually

eight or nine kids that get on the van at two locations. So if you

are interested contact Rev. Brenda Dowell

There will be a Training Session for all Church Teachers and Extended Care volunteers who work with our children and youth at Trinity on February 1 immediately following the Bridge worship service. Parents are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided. We will discuss Safe Sanctuary, behavior guidelines, and different techniques of discipline. I really need all Church Teach-ers and Extended Care volunteers who work with our children and youth to attend this meeting. Thanks.

    This Sunday, January 18 at 8:45 and 11:00 a.m.,

we will Worship the Lord in the beauty of His

Holiness with an all music service.

We will sing hymns and songs,

    Speak poems and Psalms,

    and soak in His presence.

We give Him praise and glory

    because of who he is—

We worship Him because of who we are.

We are made to Worship Him.
