VARIABLE DISPLACEMENTAXIAL PISTON PUMPSOur variable volume, pressure compensated axial piston pumpscontinuously match output flow to the systems demands. Input horsepower closely matchs output horsepower in these highly efficient HPV series pumps. They’re designed to closely match the Eaton-Vickers PVB and PVQ and the Denison PV series of pumps in physical size, port location for ease of interchange and replacement.

EFFICIENT & FLEXIBLE DESIGN The variable volume and pressure compensated design simplifies circuit design, and reduces heat buildup and noise. Four pump control options allow the designer to choose the most efficient means to power the hydraulic equipment. Choices include the standard pressure compensator control, remote pressure control, load sensing control, and horsepower limiting control. A variety of standard and proportional valves can be added to the remote and load sensing compensators, making the system highly efficient and flexible.
Efficiently designed porting reduces noise at all pressure and flow levels for quiet, efficient operation that eliminates the need for noise shrouds. The rugged, cast iron body is thicker at stress points which contribute to quiet operation.

These rugged, durable and efficient valves make them a low-cost of ownership in any system.
A. SOLENOID OPERATED VALVESThe solenoid operated directional control valves are available in DIN coil connections or topelectrical box that offer multiple connection styles. With pressures to 5000 PSI and flow rates to 290 GPM, theseNFPA and ANSI/ISO standard mounting pattern valves are available in six configurations.
B. MONITORED VALVESThis version of our Directional Control Valve product lineup, offers the system designer the ability to not only operatethe circuit, but also receive a validation.

MODULAR STACK VALVES
STRONGMODULAR STACK VALVESOur modular stack valves are designed to install between the valve and its mounting surface. This will eliminate plumbing, leak points and reduce space requirements. These are manufactured to NFPA and ANSI/ISO standards.
Most all products are available in either Anodized Aluminum bodies, rated up to 3000 PSI and use cartridge valves or in cast/ductile iron bodies, rated up to 5000 PSI and use parts in body or cartridge valves.

WITH DIGITAL ELECTRONICSOur proportional valves allow a smooth and precise control of the load movement with the aid of an integrated digital amplifier mounted on the valve. Pre-calibrated at the factory, the integrated electronics supplies the valves with pulsating current (PWM) controlling the hydraulic flow in proportion to the reference input signal.
The integrated digital electronics with a fieldbus interface improves the dynamics of the proportional valves, reducing response times and hysteresis. The advanced software allows computer-assisted maintenance and setting of hydraulic parameters.

Our full line of standard subplates, manifolds, valve adaptors, tapping plates and headerblocks are manufactured from either aluminum or cast/ductile materials.
SUBPLATES/MANIFOLDS- All standard NFPA / ISO mounting patterns are available in single Subplates or in Manifolds where mounting from two to sixteen stations are required.- To assist in designing your circuits these products are offered with NPTF, SAE O-ring, BSPP, 4 bolt Flange and BSPT port styles for your convenience.
INTEGRATED HYDRAULIC CIRCUITS- Integrated Hydraulic Circuit blocks help you save 30 – 70% in labor and material costs by eliminating inter-valve piping. You get a consistent circuit every time.- Integrated Circuits reduce the number of leak-points in a system. Because there is less plumbing, system size can also be reduced.- Integrated Circuits are generally designed for one specific application. Our design engineers, using the latest in computer software, can produce drawings from your schematics and produce approval drawings to make sure it meets your requirements.
DOUBLE REDUNDANT DUAL MONITORING VALVESOur double redundant dual monitoring hydraulic valve packages help you ensure betteroperating and safer hydraulic systems. These unique valve packages help hydraulic systemusers achieve their monitoring goals— a clean compact solution either connected directlyto the main power source or as part of a branch circuit feeding one of many work cells.
- Available In Five Sizes.- Nominal Flow Rates Of 10, 20, 35,70 & 125 GPM- Pressure Ratings Of Up To 5000 PSI- Built with two valves— both must be activated to allow fluid and pressure to continue to the circuit. If either valve is deactivated, the outlet port is directed back to tank.- Informational signals can be used by system designers and machine control programmers to alert or shut the machine off based on your control programs.
LOGIC ELEMENTSLogic poppet valves give system designers the ability to control circuits with high flow rates thatmay not be practical with standard Directional Control Valves. With flow capabilities from 50 to790 GPM and pressures to 6000PSI, the Logic Cartridges are a great solution when thedesign requires space saving control. A wide range of control covers enable allthe standard requested piloting and command functions. Monitoring switchesincorporated in the control covers, will provide a signal when the cartridgeelements are in a closed position. These cartridge logic valves are made to theindustry standard ISO 7368-DIN 24342 dimensions for size 16, 25, 32, 40, 50and 63 elements.

STANDARD POWER UNITS
A. LITTLE CHAMP SERIESLittle Champ power units are designed for use in locations where space is limited and larger, noisier power units are not needed. They’re ideal for applications requiring moderate fluid volume and flow rate, short hydraulic lines, and quick cycling.
B. LITTLE CHAMP KITSLittle Champ power units can be built at your facility at your convenience. Continental will supply the complete set of components and hardware. Simply order the model code and you’ll receive a complete kit to build your own unit.
C. LOW PROFILE SERIESLow profile units are well-suited for industrial applications requiring moderate fluid volume and flow rate. They are an excellent solution where space is at a premium, or where the power of a NFPA/JIC-Style unit is needed in a smaller, less expensive package.
D. JIC-STYLENFPA/JIC-style power units are especially well-suited for heavier duty, continuous-use industrial applications requiring design flexibility and rugged construction.
E. L-SHAPEDL-shaped power units are ideal for demanding high production industrial applications requiring high fluid volume and flow rate. The readily removable tank cover simplifies cleaning or replacing suction strainers. L-shape power units feature flooded suction inlets that eliminate the need for the pump to lift hydraulic fluid, reducing wear and tear.
