Our Hope For YouWe hope to help you engage in serving. It is our heart to empower you to make a difference using the gifts and passions God has placed within you.

“God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” (1 Peter 4:10)

DREAM TEAMS (Volunteers)Our DREAM TEAM environment is about helping you uncover what God has placed in you and helping create opportunities for you to use what He has given you to serve others.

- We are commited to helping you find a place you love to serve and a team of people you love to serve with.- When you start using what God has given you to serve others, you will start to grow while at the same helping others grow. - Dream Team Members help accomplish the mission of the church, “To develop people who can function spiritually on a practical level.”

DREAM TEAM VALUESWe believe that:

- Every member is a minister. (Ephesians 4:12) - Every person is a “10” in some area. - Every task is important.

ATTEND ONE, SERVE ONEWe are to live a life devoted to Jesus Christ: first and foremost. The Dream Team incorporates an “Attend One, Serve One” motto. This allows individuals to worship the Lord by attending a worship experience and then to worship the Lord by serving a worship experience. Both our song and serving are worship to the Lord. TEAM HUDDLESThe entire team comes together to prepare, receive position assignments/logistics and pray. This is essential for unity and clarity. Most teams meet 30 minutes to one hour before the service begins. As soon as Huddles are complete, the team gets in position to serve. CHECK-INFellowship One is the database we use to help care for the team. Every time you serve we ask you check-in so that leaders can lead the team with greater care and knowledge. DREAM TEAM LOUNGEThis is the hub of Dream Team life during any service. There you will find snacks, check-in stations, church family, badges, pertinent information and an incredible team to SERVE YOU. APPRECIATION EVENTSGrace highly values generosity and family. Every year we will host a Dream Team Party for our teams. We join for food, entertainment, giveaways and more. The goal is to celebrate what God has done, build relationships, and have fun!

As a key part of the Grace leadership family, you have the responsibility to develop and exhibit mature Christian behavior. This should be the basic premise of your desire to participate in a servant-leader position here at Grace Christian Center. While serving the Body of Christ as a servant-leader, you are pledging to present a good appearance at all times. In both attire and behavior, you should be striving to demonstrate Biblical standards in all situations by the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of our Lord Jesus. As Christians, the way we present ourselves to others is of vital importance to the way others perceive Christ. Our conduct should never be an embarrasment to Christ, but should exemplify the best qualities of a mature believer and servant-leader. Exemplifying the highest moral commitment, Grace’s leaders are encouraged to maintain a disciplined life of Bible reading, prayer, fasting and other spiritual practices that bring us to the grace of Jesus and encourage us to walk in the Spirit. We also encourage each leader to refrain from all behaviors which might cause Christ to grieve and others to stumble. As a servant-leader, you are being empowered to lead others in what it means to follow Jesus and to be conformed into His image. This is a weighty responsibility and should be considered with much prayer and humility. None of us are perfect followers of Jesus. We are all still on the path of transformation. Because we are leading others, we must be held accountable for all of our decisions and actions, ministerial or personal. So as a leader, you are committing to remain on the path of transformation and to be held accountable in a loving and uplifting way by your leaders and peers.

By providing an example in speech and action, we encourage others to grow in Christ and become servant-leaders themselves. This is a way of life measured by the heart and commitment of each leader in the Grace family. We should regard accountability as an essential part of our development and formation into the image of Christ, not as an imposition or restriction. “The same goes for those who want to be servants in the church: serious, not deceitful, not too free with the bottle, not in it for what they can get out of it. They must be reverent before the mystery of the faith, not using their position to try to run things. Let them prove themselves first. If they show they can do it, take them on. No exceptions are to be made for women-same qualifications: serious, dependable, not sharp-tongued, not overfond of wine. Servants in the church are to be committed to their spouses, attentive to their own children and diligent in looking after their own affairs. Those who do this servant work will come to be highly respected, a real credit to this Jesus-faith.” (1 Timothy 3:8-13)

Our team connects guests to our Church community by providing resources and information on all of our current events and ministry opportunities.

• Greeters Our team makes people feel at home by welcoming each guest with a smile as they walk up to the doors.

• Caring Hearts Our team brings a personal touch to our worship experience by hosting in the lobby and around the campus, providing clear answers to any question.

• Plan Your Visit Hosts Our team connects with guests who are new to Grace, to welcome and give a quick tour of the campus while answering any questions they may have.

FACILITIES HUB• Café Grace

Our team prepares coffee, cleans the coffee area and is ready to serve with a smile.

• Parking Lot / Shuttle Our team serves as the first impression for those attending by welcoming people on and off the property and by providing a safe and efficient parking experience.

• Cleaning / Maintenance Our team works diligently behind the scenes to maintain a spirit of excellence in every area of our church by ensuring trash is picked up in and around the campus.

Video Technology / Photographers / Worship Team Our team assists in the production of the overall worship experience, using lights, cameras, and other visual elements. We facilitate a powerful worship experience through vocals and instruments, preparing the way for guests to encounter the presence of the living God.

MINISTRY HUB• Communion

Our team prepares and serves the elements during communion services.

• Prayer Team Our team provides prayer covering for services as well as prayer for individuals.

• Ushers Our team assists people to their seats, facilitates the offering and helps maintain a distraction-free service environment.

OUTREACH HUB• Community Outreach / Bags of Grace

Our team facilitates serving opportunities that allow for God’s love to be brought to our community.

• Events Team Our team serves by assisting with set up, check-in, facilitating meals/snacks, tear down along with providing resource materials for our events.
