How I created my contents page
Model-Farah
Firstly I opened In-Design.
I then decided how many pages I wanted. Which is one due to it being a contents page.
The page comes like this.
I then placed a rectangle frame, covering the whole page using the rectangle frame tool.
I then went to file and placed the image of my model. I decided that the image should be more centred to the right so the text can go on the left.
I then placed the text on the right working from bottom to top. I chose font minion pro and the heading size 14 and text size 12.
Another text box – Business.
Another text box – New releases.
Another text box – Couples.
Another text box – Exclusives.
Another text box – The Juice.
I then created another text box and placed the heading “features” inside.
I then decided to relate my model to one of the pages in my magazine and so I created yet another text box and put ”Kim 3” inside.
I also decided to make the page numbers red so now there is a common colour scheme running through my magazine.
I decided to play around with colours as my contents page looked very dull so I made the first letter in “Features” red so it stands out more but not overdoing the colour on the page.
I then decided that my magazine needed more colour so I created a long rectangle, using the tool from the left, which stretched from the top of the page to the bottom and filled it in green. I placed it to the left towards the edge of the page.
I then thought the page still looked a bit dull so I changed the headings to red.
Under the image I placed a small long red rectangle so you know where the page ends, and then placed the magazines name.
Lastly I included the contact details right at the bottom left of the page.
I then also included the date and issue of the magazine in the bottom left of the magazine.
