Print Screens of the Contents Page of the Popsplash magazine

This is the initial page from Photoshop when I started to build the contents page of the Popsplash magazine, the paper is international.

The next step that I done was adding some colour to the background so it would not be so plain in white but still keep it with the colour scheme from the front page of the magazine.The colour was added by using the “grading tool” icon on the left side of the page.

The following step that I did was starting to write up the heading and sub headings of the contents page; this was done by using the “T” icon on the left, then drawing a box and typing.As well as adding the colour to the text.

The same step was applied here as I explained on the previous page.

For a contents page to stand out the masthead of the magazine may be applied just like I did, basically I copied it from the front cover, pasted it on the new page, resized it and it was done.

For the reason that the masthead in the front cover had some extra detail, that needed to be transferred to the contents page so it could all be the same. So what I did was that I copied and pasted the extra bit.

These two screen shots show the sub-heading of the article that would be in the magazine and the process of how I done then is the same as I have explained before

The following step towards the making of the contents page was adding photographs to the features side one by one. I downloaded them from the media blog and them pasted them each in its place.

The same process was added to the regulars side; “I downloaded them from the media blog and them pasted them each in its place.”

Each article needed a sentence stating the page number and what it is about therefore what I did was simply by using the “T” icon write it up.

The process that I describe above was also used to write about the regulars of the contents page.
