This contents page for NME magazine is more textual then pictorial. The main selling point here is the albums of 2009. The page numbers are right of the subject matter but not the clearest thing to read. On this contents page there is a lot packed in, and gives you a lot of information about the magazine. The style and theme of the contents page normally links to the front page and the rest of the magazine, here without seeing the front page or the magazine you can already see the title NME is the same style as what is on the front page and on every other NME magazine.

This is the contents page of music magazine kerrang. It is very much pictorial, it has 8 different pictures showing different band and the editor. The main feature of this is a review of the reading and Leeds festival. The page numbers and titles are to the right of this, and they are very clear with different ones being under different sub headings. The colours of the writing is that of the same as the front page, the 2 main ones being yellow and black so this does follow theme. The way this sell is the amount of different bands its offering, it has 7 different pictures of band that you would see straight away as you looked at this and this helps sell the magazine.
