If the world has no peace today, it is because many nationsand most individuals deny the supremacy of a moral order,in their inter-personal and inter-communal relationships.

In today’s world, we find the incidence of sexual libertinism,economic exploitation, racial discrimination or militaristicaggression. The number of such individuals and nations isincreasing day-by-day, who think that wickedness, cunningnessand vices are better than virtues and violence is better thannon-violence. There are whole societies or nations that thinkthat man is merely an animal, hankering after material progressand comforts. They believe that man is satisfied merely bysense-gratification, and that he is an animal that lives fromsensation to sensation. They refuse to accept the evidence,namely that man has a conscience and that he has higheraspirations, such as the aspiration for peace, calmness andbliss. Even the most degraded person has an inner aspirationfor solace, satisfaction and peace. They fail to realize thatpeace, contentment, and bliss are not the qualities of bodilycells; they are the qualities of conscient self in its state ofmoral stature.

Because of their materialistic thinking and attitude, scholarshave given to the society what is called the materialisticinterpretation of history. This view of man and history has beenpopularized and publicized by historians, economists and socialscientists. The result is that the modern man does not believein the supremacy of moral law. Man has, therefore, ceased toapply human values to the problems. Take, for example, theproblem of nuclear weapons. There have been many agitationsand conferences to bring about disarmament. In the talks fordisarmament or in the negotiations for reduction of nuclearweapons, the only quality brought to bear is the fear of a wayand the resulting annihilation. The talks are vitiated and theydo not lead to actual disarmament because no moral valuesare brought to bear on the problem. The representatives ofvarious nations do not think in terms of their moral responsibility.

in our practical life we mustcultivate the stage of soul-consciousness, instead of body-consciousness. Yes, there isenthusiasm within me and whyis this so? I have never forgottenmy aim and the signs of this aimare working naturally andautomatically. Enthusiasm, zealand happiness are the signs. Ifeel if I don’t do it, then whowill? From the very beginning ofmy spiritual life, I havemaintained two things in myintellect: whatever Baba speaksin the Murli, I do not miss; Ivalue it and bring it into mypractical life, because the aim isto take the Godly birthright for21 births. The Murli tells us thatwhatever we want to do, we cando.

The first thing is to bring themind into a state of peace. Thenthe sense organs remain underour control, not the other wayround. It is said, “We need to

have the senses under ourcommand, although we oftenfind it difficult”. When we bringour mind into a state of peace,our sense organs stay in orderand the soul gets wiser. He orshe then knows what actions toperform and what not toperform. It is through Brahmathat Shiv Baba spoke to us andexplained this knowledge of thesoul and Supreme Soul soclearly. Brahma Baba’s lifebecame an example. Knowingwhat the soul is, gives us lightand then thinking of the Supremegives us might, power. This is thewonder of the Drama. What didI do? I cannot get these thingsdone. It is God. Yet I never sayI cannot do it. What is the faceof an enthusiastic person like?Someone who is enthusiastic,doesn’t have ego. He/she willdo what needs to be done andwill not just ask others to do allthe work. Doing things inpractical life, is enthusiasmworking naturally. This is amatter of one second. Myenthusiasm has neverdecreased.

When we came fromPakistan to India in the firsthouse, Brij Kothi, at Mount Abu,Baba would sit below the stairsand ask us to show him the solesof our feet. He wanted to see ifour feet were clean. Our Baba

taught us and also fed usBrahma Bhojan. We havereceived so much of sacred foodthroughout our entire life, sincewe belonged to Baba. Withevery step at the ConfluenceAge comes the income of multi-millions.

Those who do service withlove, make their companions tooenthusiastic. When people seetheir enthusiasm and zeal, theyalso become very co-operativeand it becomes very easy for allto work together. Whether it isthrough the mind, body orwealth, there is naturalcooperation. In order to fulfilBaba’s hopes, my heart alwaysasks, ‘What shall I do today?’What shall I do now? I thinkabout this two or three times aday. Whatever happenedyesterday was good and whatwill happens tomorrow will alsobe good, that is a guarantee. Wehave to make others likeourselves in a natural way. Thisis the colour of company. Thereis a lot of power in being true.When the heart is cleaninternally, the thoughts producedare naturally of good quality.

When there is enthusiasm, theplans for service occur naturallyand others help and cooperateand it becomes very easy towork together. When the heart

is true, God is definitely pleased.When the heart is clean,whatever thought arises easilybecomes a reality and we neverbecome disheartened. Tobecome disheartened is a bigmistake. One should never allowoneself to get depressed. Oneshouldn’t complain, but shouldkeep the aim to becomecomplete and keep his face fullyenthusiastic.

Everyone should work withpositive energy and should havea very good attitude. Even inservice, one should not havefeelings of jealousy andcompetition towards otherregions or countries. Each onehas a different service; hencethey should enjoy their serviceand try to keep a high interestlevel and help to keep theenthusiasm going on. Baba issitting there and watching us.

As God Shiva’s hand is onour heart, it becomes filled withpeace, purity and happiness.The knowledge of the Tree, theCycle and the Ladder shows uswhat we have to become. ShivBaba is making us into serversin this Confluence Age. Theproof of having a clean pureheart will be revealed inpractical life. For how manyyears have I been maintainingenthusiasm? Some are

enthusiastic for 10 years andthen it becomes their nature andthe basis of spiritual efforts. Atthis Confluence Age, oneshould have spiritual awarenessand move forward.

When I first came in contactwith this divine knowledge,Shiva Baba was explaining thefour ages; how to become likeLakshmi or Narayan and takethe kingdom for 21 births whichis possible at the ConfluenceAge only. We get a great dealof help from Him. He getsthings done through others.Who created this game, thisplay? If we understand theCreation, then we understandthe Creator.

Shiva Baba has taught ussuch an easy yoga. From deepwithin, whenever there is anypain, we say the word ‘Baba’.He has so much power and Heis our companion. He is with usso we can be detachedobservers and enjoy playing ourroles.

I have the fortune ofremaining always happy seeingmy own part and everyoneelse’s part. If one hasunderstood this, then theenthusiasm will expand aroundthe world. One should keepinside what is useful for oneselfand use it in one’s practical life.

When we face someproblem and we don’t haveanyone to help us, weremember God that He is oursand He will certainly help us.He had definitely helped usthat is why we remember Him.What help did He give? Hehelped us greatly; He made theentire world a Heaven for us.What God does for us is not asmall help. He does a huge task– of transforming the souls andthe entire world.

When we perform goodactions, we get good results.Whatever small or big profit orloss we make is the fruit of ourkarma; this is not God’s help.Our efforts in the ConfluenceAge reap for us the fruit of thenew world, the attainment ofeverlasting happiness, peaceand prosperity. So the Fathersays: ‘My task is different, isn’tit? I will give you the accurateknowledge, and the method toperform elevated actions. Thisis known as karma yoga.’This is why it is also mentionedin The Gita that karma yogais the most elevated. TheFather says: ‘Never forsakeactions. While living at home,in the household, just makeyour actions pure. I come andgive you the knowledge as tohow to purify your actions.’

Baba says: ‘Only I speakthe truth, because Iknow it accurately.

Only I tell what truth is’. As aresult, many have said that Godis Truth. Some people think Godis nothing but whatever theyspeak is truth; speaking truth isGod. However, it isn’t that.‘God is truth’ means that Godpersonally comes and tells uswhat the eternal truth is.

In many aspects people saythat God knows. In His praise,the word ‘full’ is used in wordssuch as: knowledge-ful, blissfuland merciful. God’s praise isdifferent from the praise ofhumans. Human beings havelimited knowledge. But He hasunlimited knowledge. In Hindi,this is spoken of as Manushya,Parmaatma Sarvagya. TheOne who is the Knower of allwill know everything andeveryone. All these aspectshave to be understood.

People praise someone onlyif they do something praise-worthy. If a child praises hisfather, it means the father has

Some people question howGod would speak. When thesoul can speak, why can’t God?He is the Almighty Authority; Hecan speak. Even the souls canspeak only when they come intothe body. The soul takes thebody and speaks; so can’t Godtake a body and speak? It is thesoul that speaks, isn’t it? TheFather says: ‘I also take a body,but not as a slave to it, nor am Icontrolled by the laws of karma,like other souls, nor do Iexperience sorrow andhappiness through that body. Ijust take the support of natureand the body; I don’t comethrough a mother’s womb. Itake the support of the mouth,to speak for the time being. Mypart, My task, is governed by Mytime.’

Christ comes as per his timeand establishes Christianity. Hewill only come when he has toestablish that religion again.Then he continues to takerebirth in that religion, till its end.Even now, he must be in somebirth.

Similarly, every soul has a partin this cycle. God also has adefinite part, a definite time anda definite body. It doesn’t meanthat God comes into limitation,or some bondage. As each soulhas a part in this unlimited drama,

so God also has His part ofliberating us from the bondageof Maya. He has to come toliberate us. He is the Liberator,so He will come to liberate us.It isn’t that He keeps liberatingus, constantly – No. He willcome when it is the time toliberate. When we are in theswamp of sorrows and misery,we call out to Him for help.

Each one has their own partand play it according to theirrespective time. It is also saidthat this world is a stage, and allare actors. This is a stage, andthe actors come to play their rolefrom Paramdham. Everyonehas to play their part on thestage, don’t they? God is alsopraised for His part, isn’t He?

We should understand how theparts of all the actors unfold.The Father comes and liberateseveryone from the bondage ofMaya. God is also a soul. Hehas all the authority; thereforeHe is called God, Ishwar, andSupreme Soul. That is why Heis considered as big in form.However, it is God’s task and notthe form that is so big and great.Gandhi was a human being andhe was called Mahatma, notbecause he was big, but becausehis task was big and hispersonality was great. So he ispraised, isn’t he? Similarly,because God’s task is also bigand great, His praises areprofound and profuse.


The scriptures may begreat, but who wrotethem? However great

that soul may be, but still he isGod’s creation, God’s child. Ahuman being – a creation andnot a creator. Creation can’t sayabout the Creator with thatmuch authority. There arelimitations: 1) Due to one’scapacity to understand, 2) Hedoesn’t know with authorityabout his father’s life before hisbirth (physical birth), he has torely on information from othersand other sources; 3) If a personhas four children, not all willunderstand him to the sameextent; one or two may be veryclose and friendly to him, othersmay be of serious nature and afew may be even very naughty.Everyone has a different levelof grasping power, intellect andnature. Besides, here the Fatheris invisible and inaccessible soonly Father can reveal Himself,introduce Himself to us when Hereveals Himself in words(Bhagwan Uwach).

See, how majestic Hislanguage is! When I heard theseprecious jewels I gotwonderstruck. Only a rare fewout of billions know Him exactlyand accurately as He is and howHe is; I suppose they are theones who are known as ‘achosen few’.

Why only they and why notall of us? We are also Hischildren, then why this disparity?

When I ponder on this thought,I feel a general survey ofcommon people to know theirunderstanding about God, 99 %people will say, ‘He isomnipresent’; hardly 1% maynot agree to it. Perhaps, theymay have something different tosay. So let us understandwhether “God is omnipresent”.Is this praise of God or are weinsulting Him?

Omnipresence of God:-We all know and accept –

‘God is the Creator and we are

His creation’. Is it possible forany creator to be within hiscreation? Can a potter sit inevery earthen pot he creates?Can a carpenter sit in everycupboard? I worked for TataTextiles, was it possible for Tatato be in every thread of thefabric produced in his factory?Always the creator is separatefrom his creation.

Most of the people in theworld believe that God is ourFather and we are all Hischildren. We are sustained byHim. Has anyone seen such afather who himself is there andat the same time he lives in everychild of his? How can a fatherbe within a child? Is it by anymeans possible? A son can takefather’s features, a son can pickup father’s qualities, a son canhave father’s genes, but the soncan’t have entire father withinhim. The child has his own bodyand his own personality.

Here in this case, we havefeatures like our Father, we arealso a point of conscient light,point of energy like our Father.He is praised as Ocean ofPeace, Ocean of Love, andOcean of all virtues. We, thesouls, also have all the qualitiesof our Father like love, peace,purity etc., but not to the extentour Father, the Ocean of allvirtues, has. We, His children,His creation, may not be theOcean of virtues but still we

have every virtue that Hehas…We are His children butwe are separate entities.

If we are all gods (if Godlives within us) then who is thecreator and who is thecreation? The concept ofcreator-creation or father andchild becomes meaningless.The word ‘brotherhood’ alsobecomes meaningless. In fact,then the word should bechanged to fatherhood. But ifeveryone is father, then, who ischild? How come anyonebecome a father without achild? If all are fathers thenwhom should we give ourinheritance to? So, the conceptof omnipresence doesn’t standthe test of truth. If the SupremeFather, the Supreme Soul whois Ocean of Peace, Ocean ofLove, Ocean of Purity…Oceanof all virtues is merged withinme, (in fact within every oneof us), then why are others notexperiencing the vibrations oflove, purity, peace from Him?Why do others get disturbedoccasionally? Why do we askGod for a drop of love? Do wealways treat others with loveand respect? Are ourinteractions with others filledwith sweetness, mercy, love,and peace?

Practically, everyday weread or listen such horrible andshocking news from news-

channels or newspapers thatwe get confused, we wonderhow can one say that Godresides in them when theiractions are so devilish andbarbaric? A person having Godwithin Him kills another personwith God within him whichmeans one God kills anotherGod. One God molests anotherGod? How can one God kill theother and eat its flesh? (Non-vegetarian God!!!)

One group of people of onereligion, each one having Godwithin them fight with anothergroup of people of anotherreligion having God within themtoo in the name of God. Howcan we understand this?

If the Almighty Authority iswithin me, then how comeanyone insults me? How cananyone dare to harass me?Why is the Almighty Authoritynot taking any action to protectme, safeguard me? And theother way round – when I amdoing any wrong action why isHe not stopping me? IfAlmighty God is within me, thenwhy is it that I cannot fight mysickness? Why do I have to goto a doctor?

Every religion says, ‘God isone’. And we also believe thatGod is in every one of us. So, isit not contradictory?

If God is in everyone; howmany Gods will be there; what

is the population of Gods?(Whereas every religion believesthat there is only one God.).

It is said, ‘God is in every leafof the tree’. And a cow comesand eats so many leaves, somany gods!!

It is also said, ‘He is in everyparticle of dust’(Kankan meBhagwan). And next momentjust walk on Him!! How canwe put our step over ourbeloved Father? We just can’tstand or walk over the earth.God being present in everyoneand everywhere, He is presentin every cell. Amoeba is also acell, so God is there too. Nowwhen someone gets anamoebic dysentery, he havingGod within him will visit adoctor who also has God withinhim to kill all those amoeba,each one having God withinthem. So, what does it mean?Are we praising God orinsulting Him?

If someone calls me adonkey or monkey, I feelinsulted. Then how can weinsult Him, the wisest of allintellectuals, by saying that Heis in everything – donkey,monkey, amoeba, even in theworms in my stomach – in livingbeings and in non-living beingstoo? Someone having poor I.Q.is called ‘Donkey’. However,the one who is the Intellect ofthe Wise and the Donor of


Knowledge, is thus insulted byus by calling Him omnipresent.

If He is everywhere, why arewe invoking Him? Why are wesearching for Him, seeking Him?

We have understood thatGod is bodiless, He is beyondpain and pleasure, He doesn’ttake birth, He is not governedby the laws of Karma, and so,those who have a body and aregoverned by the Laws ofKarma can’t be called God. So,God is not in them; hence, notomnipresent.

It is also said that “the Souland the Supreme Soul wereseparated for a long time. Whenwe come across a satguru asan agent, he brings both ofthem close again (AtmaParamatma alag rahebahukal|Sundar mela kardiya, jab Sat Guru milaDalal).” It means souls areseparate from the SupremeSoul and can’t be the SupremeSoul themselves.

When God is everywhere,where is the question of Hiscoming? It means though He isnot everywhere, not even onthe Earth; He comes downwhen the conditions deteriorate.

He is the Heavenly God-Father who creates Heaven onthe earth, a wonderland wherethere will be no trace of sorrow,sickness, poverty, etc. Therewill be health, wealth,

happiness, and long life for thepeople and all the five elementswill be pure. He is called ‘TheHighest on high/Sarvottam’which means that He is themost elevated one.

Guru Nanak also said, Themaster of all of us is One(‘Sabka malik ek hai’) andpointed an index finger upwardstowards the sky. We sing, TheOne who stays above knowsbut pretends as if He doesn’tknow anything (‘Upar walajankar anjan hai’) or Pleaseleave your throne of the sky andcome to the Earth (‘Chhod bhide akash singhasan isdharatipe aaja re’), the Onewho stays in the far away landhas come to a foreign land(‘Door desh ka rahne walaaaya desh paraye’). Pleasetake us away from this land fullof sins (‘Is pap ki duniya sedoor kahin le chal’). Whatdoes all of these mean?

Many more points can be putagainst the totally wrongpresumption of God’somnipresence. But now I leaveit to you to think and churn withinyour intellect, this topic and youwill find many interesting pointsagainst the concept of God’sOmnipresence.

In essence, God is the onlyOne who stays in His ownSweet Silent Home, in His ownland called the Highest ever

metaphysical world far beyondthe physical world of fiveelements (Paramdham).

The above discussion explainsclearly ‘God is not omnipresent.’To call Him omnipresentamounts to insulting Him.Everyone has the freedom ofthoughts, speech and belief.Beliefs are just beliefs, they mayor may not be the truth. Weneed to check them accordingto change of time, research anddevelopments, and if needed,also change them. Even ifsomeone disagrees, I stillrequest you kindly not to say thatHe is omnipresent. Even if weunknowingly break the law, weare liable for punishment.Ignorance of law can’t be anexcuse for freedom to passderogatory remarks, that tooabout our beloved SupremeFather.

Then how come thisknowledge of Omnipresencecame into existence!

The saints and sages mighthave introduced it throughscriptures with the hope thatmoral values might bemaintained in the society. Ifsomeone performs an immoralact, he would be afraid that Godmight be watching him as Godis omnipresent. And this fear ofGod will help to maintain sanityand morality in the society.

On 26th January 2016, at about 12 O’ clock myson had severe

stomach ache and we took himto hospital. Thrice the doctorssent him home with the pain killerbut pain went worse. Then theyadmitted him in the hospital. Mysister-in-law attends the BrahmaKumaris, a few times my wifealso visited them but I never did.I didn’t really believe in Baba.When we took my son to theEaling Hospital they said that hehad Appendicitis and they senthim to Northwick Park Hospital.He was sent to three differenthospitals within an hour. Theygave him anaesthetic while hewas being taken to the operationtheatre, but somethinghappened.

As soon as they gave him aninjection, he stopped breathingand his heart beat even fainteddown. The doctors wereshocked; they forgot about thestomach pain. My sister-in-lawrushed to the hospital as my wife

found out that the doctor was notsure what was happening.Nothing was right, but my sister-in-law waited outside the theatrepraying to Baba. Everyone fromthe Brahma Kumaris centre wasalso praying for my son day andnight, especially the sister atSouthall centre. My sister-in-lawwent to the operation theatre asthe door was opened for her. Shefelt as if someone was pushingher in, maybe it was Baba. Doorafter door automatically openedfor her, eventually she wasinside. Usually, no one is allowedinside operation theatre but thedoctor didn’t say anything. Mysister-in-law used to be a nurseand she knew that my son’sheartbeat had gone down and hecouldn’t breathe. The doctorstried to get his breathing backbut they nearly gave up hope inhim but Baba didn’t do so.

During that time, my son hada dream. At first, he couldn’tbelieve but then he realized hereally met Baba. He saw an old

man riding a black horse. Thescene was beautiful; he sawBaba taking him around theplaces. Baba took him to theBrahma Kumaris SpiritualUniversity at Mount Abu whichhe had never seen before, andthen he saw five ladies in white;he didn’t know who they were.Baba told him that she wasSister Shivani; he then thoughtthat he was just imagining asSister Shivani might not be realas he had never heard of her, orseen her.

The next day, early in themorning, I went for prayer toBK centre in Southall and wewere crying as we were goingthrough bad time. Everyone hadgiven up, but the sister at thecentre told me to wait till 10O’clock, and then call her. At

9.30 A.M., my son opened his eyesand saw the surgeon with themask. The first words that my sonuttered, as she told us, were, “Iam sleeping on Baba’s lap. Don’tworry.” It was after all this thathe found out who Sister Shivaniwas. We were so happy to seehim. He was as happy as ever andnow he really wanted to meetSister Shivani. The doctors toldhim that he was in a coma. Butmore surprising was how it allhappened and that too exactly asthe sister at the centre had said‘wait till 10 O’clock’.

Would you believe that he didnot need any operation and anymedicine after all? I startedbelieving in Baba. My wholefamily believes in Baba, the GodFather, and now we go to thecentre regularly at 4 O’clock.Baba has changed our lives. Babanow wakes us up at 3 O’clock inthe morning and we go to theBrahma Kumari Centre in Southalland the Global House everySunday. My son is feeling muchbetter. Baba has given him newlife while he was in coma. Babatold me, “Child, never eat meat asit is not good for you.” Since thatday we have not touched meat andthe whole family has becomevegetarian and do not need anymedicine.

Baba has given my sonVarmisan a new life; now he hasgone back to school and has beendoing quite well at his studies.

So this conjunction of Atma and Parmatmashould not be disconnected if one wants to get energyor power forever.


Boundless joy andhappiness ofchildhood can be

compared with fresh sparklingriver flow, dancing down fromthe mountain top, makinggurgling sound of laughter, andmaking everybody happy. Likethat, we were also sospontaneous, undemanding andpure at heart. Happiness waspart of our nature; our laughter,even our occasional pearl liketear drops amused all. Thrillingexperience of having a swingon a tree twig and a run afterbutterflies on drenchedmeadows, remain ever fresh inour memory. We were full withpositive energy, and were happyin each moment with whateverwe had.

But as we grow up, we getstressed out with life’schallenges, and ourspontaneous positive energylevel goes down. We startfeeling irritated and unhappy onthe slightest pretext so we startsearching our lost paradise inall possible ways to regain ourhappiness.

taste exquisite cuisine, collectcostly things, just to feel happy.The temporary satisfactionstays, as long as our sensationsof touching, tasting or seeinglasts, or till the mind gets bored,and is tempted by a newstimulus.

Though happiness, to someextent, depends on externalfactors, but mainly it dependson our mental attitude.Circumstances are alwaysneutral. Swami Yoganandasays, “It is how we react tothem that make them seemeither happy or sad”.

We make our life with ourown choice. If we decide to behappy then nobody can makeus unhappy, and if we decideto be unhappy, then nobody canmake us happy either.

Generally, we are unhappy,because we react to situations,being motivated by ouruncontrolled desires, habits andkarmic tendencies. We act notby our conscious choice.Spiritual masters recommendthat by practising meditationand yoga, mind calms down,and we can accumulate more

positive energy, and canincrease the discriminatingpower in us. We become skilfulto respond to life, moreconsciously and appropriatelyrather than reactingunconsciously and impulsively.

Our too much dependence onoutside world to drawhappiness can also be aproblem. The wise people say,“the more you depend uponconditions outside yourself forhappiness, the less happinessyou will experience”. It iswrong to think that withouthaving big houses and luxuriousitems we cannot be happy. Anaverage person in America hasmuch more of luxuries andcomforts than the averageperson in Europe, India or anyother land. But still he is nothappy. He is burning withanxieties and worries.Happiness is not confined to anindividual matter. To fill up myown cup of happiness, it is alsoessential to give service to otherneedy souls.

Joys and sorrows both arefelt in our mind. We mustalways be careful to keep ourmind engaged with onlypositive and creative thoughts.Thoughts are very powerful;they generate energy andinfluence life strongly. So like agood gardener, we must learnto be selective and throw awayweeds of negative thoughts andwater only good tendencies likecompassion, honesty, love, etc.in us to come up in uppersurface of our life. Then onlythe flower of happiness canblossom to make us happy andcan spread its fragranceeverywhere through ourthoughts, actions and words.

Life is too valuable to bewasted by being negative,unhappy and moody. Life isimpermanent; so whatever wecan do, we should do now. Thetruth is, sooner or later we allwill remain only as memory insome people’s mind.

As the saint poet Kabir said,“When we come to this world,we cry and everybody smiles.Let us do such work in life thatwhen we leave, we smile andeveryone else should cry”.

THE ENERGY OF THOUGHTAND FEELING

Like so many other energies - sound energy, light energy,electrical energy, etc., which are primarily invisible formsof energy and come under the realm of matter or the fiveelements, the energy of thought and feeling is also aform of invisible energy. The only difference is that itis an energy which transcends the limits of matteror the five elements and is metaphysical or non-physical and extremely subtle in nature. It is a livingor conscient energy which originates from theconscient soul, as compared to the other energies whichare non-living or non-conscient in nature. But at the sametime, it is important not to forget that it is closelyconnected with the physical body and can only expressitself through a physical body. Also, we perceive thisenergy only when we are inside the physical body.

It is an energy which keeps going and going for as longas we live. It is this energy which we need to learnto channelize, control, manage, discipline, etc.because by doing that we experience our originalvirtues of peace, love, joy and power. This issomething which we have not been able to do since along time, and something which a lot of people havedesired to achieve since thousands of years. Thetechnique of meditation is one technique which helpsus in channelizing our thoughts in a positive direction.The channelization of this thought energy improvesthe quality of our life as it has a positive effect onthe various body systems, the quality of all rolesthat we play and very importantly on ourrelationships – not only with others but with our selfand the Supreme Being or God also.

Wecannot fly with so much of weight. But the ego cannotbear to admit that it does not know enough. It, therefore,seeks to collect more information so that it may revel inthe idea of ‘I know it all’. Have we ever paused to ask,why has our information not brought about a transformationin us? Instead of gaining purity, we are becoming morevicious. We have become rigid, self-willed, opinionated andinsistent and have lost the humility to seek true knowledge.As a consequence, our delusion has become stronger. Aswe begin to understand our true identity of being a soul, allego dissolves and the arrogance of ‘I know it all’ vanishes.On the path of Rajyoga, worldly information becomesredundant. When we start off-loading the past beliefs andnegative information, our mind begins to become silent,still and pure. Self-realization is an announcement that theveil has been lifted and the beloved Supreme Teacher hasbeen found. Supreme Teacher helps us to realize howrewarding it is to understand and experience Godly wisdom.

Discipline is animportant aspect oflife. We need physical

exercises to ensure that ourphysical body is fit and healthy;in the same way, we need toexercise spiritually withdiscipline to ensure that ourspiritual life is continuouslystrengthened and alwaysremains healthy. We need tocontinuously work on ourselvesand follow the SupremeDirections diligently to ensurethat we overcome the negativeinfluences and stay closer toGod. We need to follow thespiritual disciplines so that wecan transform our thoughts,words and actions; and as wedo this diligently it becomes ourhabit and eventually becomes anormal part of our life.

nature, words and connectionsthat are not accurate accordingto spiritual disciplines. SpiritualDisciplines give birth to purethoughts, good actions and goodsanskars. Only when wepractise the rules and principlesof the Spiritual disciplined lifeaccording to Shrimat, we cantruly understand the realmeaning of the phrase – “Goodwishes and pure feelings”.

Check that your thoughts,words, actions and relationshipsare all worthwhile at everymoment. If not so, consciouslydiscipline yourself and follow thecorrect path, set your daily time-table and follow it strictly.Introversion, purity anddisciplined life based upon thespiritual disciplines make thesouls equal to the SupremeFather and enjoy the elevatedfortune. Hence, make use of thisgolden opportunity to create yourfortune. Discipline the mind,intellect, sanskars, the physicalsenses and walk on the right pathas indicated by Shrimat.Constantly maintain theintoxication of “The Father andI and none else”. Since last few seasons,Baba has beenemphasising on “No

Waste Thoughts”. The reason isthat ultimate outcome of ourefforts shall be measured by thequality of our thoughts.

We have been told aboutvarious sources / causes ofwaste thoughts, their harmfuleffects and numerous ways todeal with them. I am nottouching all of them now. Myaim right now is to share withthe readers, the result of my 21-Day experiment on eliminationof waste thoughts on the basisof Avyakt Murli dated 27-3-1983.

Bapdada said in that Murlithat one powerful thought whichcan immediately destroy thestream of waste thoughts is —“Whatever is going to happenwill be benevolent(Kalyankaari) and the best forme”.

GET RID OF WASTETHOUGHTS

Consequently, my experimenthas two parts: To get feedbackfrom the sub-conscious mind(Antarman/chitt), wheneverany waste thought tries to entermy mind and then (ii) To use theabove mentioned PowerfulThought.

EXPLANATIONSub-Conscious Mind (SCM)

is always active and is the mostpowerful faculty of the soul, with90% of the total soul power, butit is subordinate to the mind. Ithas, therefore, free time to listento us only when mind takes restand that is either duringAmritvela or at night before wego to bed. Further, the SCM hastwo main functions in our life –(i) the first function is Psychofeedback Function. Under thisour Subconscious Mind(Antarman /chitt) will act uponany suggestion that is repeatedover and over again. (ii) Thesecond function is to attract tous situations and circumstancesaccording to the predominantthought patterns that reside andvibrate within it. My re-occurring mantra is, “What youfocus on, you attract.”

The repetitive suggestions

result in reinforcement of thatparticular trait / sanskar as theSub-conscious Mind is unable todistinguish BETWEEN anaction performed in reality andwitnessed with the physical eyesAND an action imagined[visualized] and seen through themind’s eye. This drawback ofSub-conscious Mind helps us toget the result of an act withoutperforming that act. After givingthe feedback, the Sub-consciousMind is made to carry out itssecond function.

IMPLEMENTATIONThe following two stages

clarify the same:–1st Stage: Suggestions to berepeated and visualized atleast twice in my mind– “Asand when negative or wastethoughts occupy my mind, let metransform them and fill up theplace with –Whatever is goingto happen will be benevolent[Kalyankaari] and the best forme”.2nd Stage: Suggestion to berepeated twice in my mind –“Day by day when wecontinuously think positivelywithout any waste, then it beginsto come spontaneously in me’’.Positive thinking becomes aninseparable part of mypersonality. This makes my stagefree of WASTE permanently,over a period of time.

Let us try this simple methodsuggested by our sweet Baba.

Kumbha Mela iscelebrated in Indiaonce every three

years wherein millions ofdevotees gather at the banksof a sacred river, which isconsidered holy and purifier.The bathing process is abelief for self-purification,salvation or liberation. Theplace at Allahabad whereKumbh Mela is held is knownas Sangam or Confluence.This place is also calledTriveni, the Confluence ofthree rivers. Interestingly, ifafter bathing, the person ispurified then why does he stillcall out to God - “O, Purifier,come and purify me andabsolve me of my sins”? Thisindicates that in spite of hisbathing, he is still not purifiedand he is looking up to theAlmighty, the Ever Pure,Supreme God Father forpurification.

It is also noteworthy thatmillions of devotees havetaken the Holy dip atSangam, then by now India

should have been liberatedand the souls should havereached the Liberation andRedemption stage. But thereality is different. There is alot of disturbance, hatred,violence, discrimination andgreed amongst people, thusreminding them of theSupreme God, whom theystill call for help in theirprayers. The government andthe policy makers are tryingto protect the holy rivers,which are highly polluted witheffluent discharges and othercontaminants, through variousprojects. Linking with his HeavenlyFather was the mostimportant thing in Jesus’

Through many chapters ofBible (Mathew 24, and 25; Mark13:3-35 and Luke 21:7-36) Jesusdescribed major world eventsthat would happen from the year1914 onwards such as WorldWars, terrorism in a global scale,life-threatening sea-level riseetc., (Mathew 24:7, 8; Luke21:25, 26), all of which willculminate in “great tribulation,unequalled from the beginning ofthe world until now” (Mathew24:21) which will be followed byGod’s action of recreation ofparadise on earth which wouldhappen at the appointed timewhich Jesus said, “God alone”knows. (Mark 13:32.)

Interestingly, among suchworld events, Jesus alsomentioned emergence of manyNew Age Organizationsannouncing the incoming GoldenAge, and he then categorizedthem into two groups—unwiseand wise. Let us listen directlyfrom Jesus who puts it in aprophetic language: “At that timethe kingdom of heaven will belike ten virgins who took theirlamps and went out to meet the

bridegroom. Five of them werefoolish and five were wise. Thefoolish ones took their lamps butdid not take any oil withthem. The wise ones, however,took oil in jars along with theirlamps. The bridegroom took along time in coming, and they allbecame drowsy and fell asleep.At midnight the cry rang out:‘Here’s the bridegroom! Comeout to meet him!’ Then all thevirgins woke up and trimmedtheir lamps. The foolish onessaid to the wise, ‘Give us someof your oil; our lamps are goingout.’ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘theremay not be enough for both usand you. Instead, go to those whosell oil and buy some foryourselves.’ But while theywere on their way to buy the oil,the bridegroom arrived. Thevirgins who were ready went inwith him to the weddingbanquet. would follow this spiritually darkIron Age. The unwise “did nottake any oil” which sustains thelamp whereas the wise “took oilin jars along with their lamps.”The key to understand what this“oil” is all about lies with Jesus’own life. Jesus proclaimed“Kingdom of Heaven” and evendeclared that this was the reasonwhy he “was sent.” (Luke 4:43)Now the important question is:What did sustain Jesus in hisspiritual quest? It is his linking[yoga] with His HeavenlyFather early in the morningmeditation which he did alsoduring the day as often as hecould. This was so important tohim that he did not even think hehad his family members orrelatives. (Mathew 12:46-50;Luke 11:27, 28) His meditationhad nothing to do with prayer inthe sense people oftenunderstand because Jesus wouldnot pray to God for any materialthings which, he very well knew,would only distance him from HisHeavenly Father. (Mathew 6:7,8; Mark 10:25; Mathew 16:24).

Those who reject the truth ofimmortality of the soul, calling ita lie originating from the Devil,continue to be asleep towards avital truth that has the potentialto establish a direct link withGod, The Almighty, enabling oneto display His qualities withoutdisruption.

On the contrary, the historyof the Brahma Kumaris matchesperfectly with the very essenceof Jesus’ above mentionedprophetic parable about“virgins.” This parable wasgiven as part of signs of the“Last Days” which starts withFirst World War 1914-1918.(Mathew 24:7). Hence thefulfilment of this parable has todo with the time period after1914. In 1936, the HeavenlyFather of all humans noticed aunique business man, DadaLekhraj (born in 1876), whoseheart was yearning for God andHis truth. God blessed him withmany visions which showedmany things common to whatJesus described as signs of “LastDays” and much more. Thesevisions taught Dada Lekhraj thathistory is an endless series ofKalpa (cycle of 5000 years) inwhich Heaven and Hellalternate on this earth. In otherwords, each Kalpa is like afarm-field which was full of goodcrops (spiritual people) in thebeginning, but is graduallybecoming overpowered byweeds (non-spiritual people)–something Jesus too describedin his famous Parable ofWeeds. (Mathew 13:24-30).Thus first half of the history isfiguratively called DAY wherehumans and environment areperfect; and second half of the

history is figuratively calledNIGHT where humans andenvironment begin to becomeimperfect, gradually declining inqualities – something whichJesus described using Parableof Yeast.(Mathew 13:33)

God renamed Dada Lekhrajas Prajapita Brahma whichmeans Father of all those whochoose to display GREATMIND (BRAH MA) of treatingothers as their own brothers andsisters, and commissioned him tospread the news to the wholeworld. He promptly sold all hisproperties and purchased an oldplace, converted it into aresidential school, nurtured andsustained as his children over300 brothers and sisters for 13years, and sent them out tospread the Godly knowledgeacross India and to the wholeworld, resulting in the now-famous and world-wideorganization called PrajapitaBrahma Kumaris IshwariyaVishwa Vidylaya. The world isdivided into two categories– onewho enjoys super sensuous joythrough their linking with God inmeditation whereas the otherwho enjoys sensuous joy of thisworld. But God Almighty goesby a simple formula: ‘Kingdomwill be given to a nation thatproduces its fruits’ (Mathew21:43) which is an open invitationto all in the world. If a person


chooses to be trained by GodHimself at this unique timewhen He directly does theplanting and watering, such aperson gets an inheritance of 21births in the first half of theKalpa (Murli 17.12.2015 and28.12.2015). [Worship of Godand all its varieties start in thesecond half of every Kalpawhen people turn egoistic,reducing God as a means to getmaterial blessings.]

Brahma Kumaris is a uniquespiritual organization whichtransforms the people andteaches them to lead a pure lifewhich will make them qualify toinherit the incoming GoldenAge. Through their practicalsession of Rajyoga meditation,an aspirant soon masters thetechnique of linking himself/herself with God Almighty, thus,inculcating all the seven core-qualities of God in allcircumstances. Seeing the divinequalities being easily manifestedby the students, many peopleflock towards Brahma Kumaris,which reminds us of aninteresting development Biblespeaks of our time: “This is whatthe LORD Almighty says: Inthose days ten people from alllanguages and nations will takefirm hold of one Jew by the hemof his robe and say, ‘Let us gowith you, because we haveheard that God is with you.”

(Zechariah 8:23)This verse cannot be taken

literally as ‘ten people from alllanguages (over 6,500languages) and all nations(around 195) cannot literallytake firm hold of one Jew by thehem of his robe.’ In addition,literally Jews are unlikely toapply this prophecy to them asthey find themselves surroundedby enemies. That means thisverse should be understood in itsprophetic and subtle sense.Behind the details, what itimplies is that there is a timefixed for God Almighty to makeHis descent using His agencywhom the Bible propheticallycalls “one Jew.” The word“Jew” (from the root Yehudahwhich Bible itself defines as onewho brings “praise” in Genesis29:35) prophetically stands for aglobal organization that brings“praise” to God through theirvirtuous action in the “LastDays,” or an organization purein God’s view. (Mathew 21:43)In many places, the Bible

foretells about a time when GodAlmighty “returns” and re-establishes true worship(Zechariah 8:3, 20-22; Isaiah2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3 … etc.)towards which only the ‘eagle-eyed’ (far-sighted) ones wouldflock in contrast to the majoritywho would go on “eating anddrinking, marrying and giving inmarriage.” (Mathew 24:28, 38)

Anyone who has had a closerlook at Brahma Kumarisorganization would feel likeHonourable Justice RanganathMisra (Former Chief Justice,Supreme Court of India) whowrote: “This institution shouldtake over the responsibility ofigniting the light of the teachers,students and the community. Ifthere is any place in the worldtoday where spirituality is theorder, I think it is this institution.Therefore, an institution of thistype, this level, this disposition,is perhaps the most capableinstitution to enthuse into thecommunity the right thinking andright process of activity.”

Lack of the sense of moral responsibilityis, in fact, the most sinister aspect of themodern civilization. Man attributesresponsibility to others or to a remotefactor. The nuclear nations lay theresponsibility for their nuclear build-up onothers because they suspect that someother country is trying to encircle them orinvade and finish them.

In fact, the whole modern thinking ischaracterized by lack of personal moralresponsibility. Take the cause ofFreudianism. Freud has laid theresponsibility of man’s mental conflicts onid or libido. A psychiatrist, today, wouldexplain that a person committed a murderbecause he had developed a complex afterhis father had beaten him with a stick whenhe was a small boy; so, the responsibilityis the father’s who had been cruel to hisson. In many other forms the attitudethat ‘I am not responsible’, runsthrough every aspect of modem life. Thishas undermined the quality of life.

So, if we now want world peace, thereal effort lies in giving man a sense ofpersonal responsibility. Let man realize thatwith all his human limitations, he can, inthis life, conquer attachment, sex-lust,greed, anger and pride which are thecauses of all kinds of disquiet and unease,and he should think that it is his moralresponsibility to eliminate them becausethey cause trouble not only to him but toothers as well.
