Apply user account and Access to Cisco Unified CM User Options Page

1) Access the URL https://cm.uc.hku.hk/ccmuser using a browser, e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox.

[For security reason, the above URL can be accessed from HKU campus network only, i.e. HKU Intranet. To

access the URL from the Internet, please connect to HKU VPN service beforehand.]

Login the Cisco Unified CM User Options Page. Enter your username and password and click ‘Login’.

Username: same as HKU Portal UID

Password: After applied, user will receive password by email.

2) You will see the following page after successful login.

How to update your Personal Speed dial on IP Phone

1) Click ‘User Options’ – ‘Device’

2) Click “Speed Dials”

3) Enter your own Quick Dialing list and click “Save” button

- For External line, add “9” as prefix

4) Once completed, you should able to make your quick dial from your IPT handset.

[To make calls using speed dials, refer to the phone’s quick reference guide]

Note: For high end phones such as 7942G, 8945 or 9951, you can set several speed dials in your extra line buttons

How to setup call forwarding

You can only enable and disable “Forward All” setting on your phone for your primary line. For other forwarding

options, they must be configured in the CM User option page as follows:

1) Click ‘User Options’ – ‘Device’

2) Click ‘Line Settings’

3) If you have multiple lines, select the appropriate phone line.

4) Setup the desired forwarding options and click ‘Save’

Change Password and PIN

1) Click ‘User Options’ – ‘User Settings’

2) Change the password or PIN, and click ‘Save’

Note: Password is used for browser access. Phone PIN is used for phone access to Personal Directory

Setup Personal Directory

1) Click ‘User Options’ – ‘Personal Address Book’

2) Click the ‘Find’ button to list all entries in your Peronal Address Book or insert search criteria to limit your

search. To add a new entry, click ‘Add New’

3) Enter the required field and click ‘Save’.

4) To access Personal Address Book on your phone:

i. Click [Phone book ] icon

ii. Select [Personal directory], click [Enter ]

iii. Enter [UserID] and [PIN], Click [Submit ]
