CONTAINERISED STATION FOR CENTRALISED SAFEGUARDING KPCO The preferred application of the system is to safeguard military bases deployed within international missions.

In the territory of the Czech Republic it may be used to safeguard military bases and premises or properties during service under long-term emergency situations.

The ballistic resistant container incorporates the following:

Modified subsystems SOM, Central safeguarding console, TV camera system for near

safeguarding.

Technical specification: (ballistic resistant container)

Length 6 130 mm Breadth 2 505 mm Height 2 625 mm Curb weight 10 000 kg Payload 2 000 kg

Except the foreign missions, this system could be used for protection of any object or area during fulfilling the tasks in extraordinary crisis situations of long term character.

The KPCO could be operated during the whole year in areas with environmental classification according to the STANAG

2895, climatic area A2 “hot and dry” (south Europe, south central Asia, middle and eastern Africa), A3 “temporary-mixed” (Europe except the south Europe) and C1 “temporary-mixed, cold” (middle Europe).

KPCO could be stored and transported within the ambient air temperature range -30°C to +60 °C.

The mentioned subsystems enable to design customer solutions both for military and police units, or for ensuring the security of important civil and industrial objects too.

The KPCO major features: observation and guarding of the area surrounding the base, its perimeter, entrances and

premises;

day or night observation with the possibility to fill gaps or critical spots;

close or remote arrangement of sensory units and image sensors of close guard in the convenient observation positions;

communication of the portable subsystems with the operators’ stations including wireless image and data transmission;

it ensures that those subsystems that are not supplied centrally may by power supplied by an auxiliary power unit thus, enabling independent service.

it ensures that the centrally supplied subsystems are furnished with an independent emergency power supply in case of central power supply outage, thus enabling independent service;

one portable SOM operator’s terminal may be located externally (outside the base) with the possibility to independently operate one SOM sensory unit.
